@mjt532 Have you ever read Isaiah's view of his beloved Jewish people? "Ah, sinful nation, a people loaded with guilt, a brood of evildoers, children given to corruption! They have forsaken the LORD; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him. (Isaiah 1:4). This is one of the nicer things he had to say. Are you saying that Isaiah hated the Jews too and is "self-contradictory"?
When Dr Brown is confronted by a verse that contradicts his position, he doesn't deal with that verse, he finds others that support his position. The problem is, he's not debating a Christian who accepts that his scriptures are infallible. For example, you can defend the idea from the NT that Jews are blessed and still god's favorites, and you can find evidence that condemns them as sons of the devil. Both ideas are found in the errant, self-contradictory NT.
