The whole reason that the Bush tax cuts are going to expire is that Bush and the Republicans in Congress wanted to disguise the effect that their tax cut for the rich would have on the deficit in future years. They just bet that future Congresses would not want to "raise" taxes by letting those unaffordable tax cuts expire. Totally dishonest and typically Republican.
If we put them back in charge, we can expect more of the same.

If only the democrats had blocked his tax cuts for the top 2%. Or his criminal attack against an innocent nation, or his bank bailouts, or torture, or shredding the Constitution. Instead I feel like we have a guy who was allowed to win. Someone who could make us feel like we were voting to end burning women and children alive halfway around for the world for no reason but money. Someone who would be above board and bring transparency back. They will only allow you this much freedom in life.
Actually, the Democrats are paid to pretend like they give a damn. The majority of them don't. Both parties serve one master. Never has it been clearer. A majority in both houses and a Democratic President yield NOTHING from these lobbyist loving cowards.
