Lol... something you are doing bad, becouse i have this car, and i can easelly get 240km/h with no modifications. I think you should go to next gear at 6200rpm and not at 7000. Maximum power is somewhere between 5200-5300rpm, it depends on motors tolerance.

what country are you from ?

i live in germany and i don´t think that here there will ever be a v/vr6 because the scirocco R with 2.0tsi already has 270 horsepowers. there is just no reasonable argument to put the v6 in .

only reason would be the sound, everything else is done better by the 2.0 turbo. (power, economics ... )
