Connie should have been in the Country Music Hall of Fame a long time ago. Too bad that the members who vote, aren't aware of her great contribution to true country music. There are a lot of people in the CMHOF who are a lot less deserving.

What a timeless voice we are hearing......There is no other voice like Connie Smith in the country music business today. She is like Patsy Cline when she sing a song it belongs to her. I think she is better today than when I first saw her almost 50 years ago. We are truly blessed for having ever heard Connie Smith.

What a voice, Connie Smith and Patty Loveless has the best voices. They sing from the heart and they make the hairs stand up on my arms, Not counting the goosebumps they give you, They need to go on tour together with Marty and his band. This is what country music is, Not what it is today. Thanks Connie and Patty for keeping it country. WOW. This is comming from a Led Zeppelin fan. I first herd Connie sing a song with Ralph Stanley, And she just knocked me out . Goosebumps and all.
