well nice job on this vid. How many ectos do u usually get per run or how many do you get over X number of runs? And OMG seriously is perma being nerfed? I will hate ArenaNet 4ever if they nerf SF again!

If I just do only the first level, on average 1 ecto every 2 runs. Though I do get times when its dry or when its 2 per run every run.

You have to admit that it's a bit overpowered to not be able to be hit by spells at all.

Yep, but with its current status it can only be used in certain areas with energy limitations. You can still be hit by touch spells, and AoE spells.

My guess is that they will nerf Paradox/Echo skills so that you can't duplicate it anymore, rendering it useless for running. They might not bother anymore due to GW2 coming out.

Currenty, I use a combination of radiation field and ether nightmare. It makes it even faster.

same here, vipers defense isnt needed, and technically you can do the run without channeling and just use a zealous scythe.

Vipers can be used as an escape option if trapped, but once one gets the hang of things its just the same without it.

The A/E Degen version is worse. I suggest you do not use the A/E Degen at all. I have tried it when I first started doing Tombs. A/E does not protect you from the grasps which take energy from you no matter if you are affected by shadow form or not.

A/E Degen/Sliver Armor is the worst.

A/E Daggers is better if you are in a group. A/Me is better if you solo.

I ran this build on level 1 and 2. I only go for the ecto-droppers and avoid the wurm. This can easily clear level 1 in a few minutes. Last time I ran this build was around 1 or 2 weeks ago.

This is in the Prophecies Campaign. The outpost is connected to The Dragon's Lair. You can just portal to it. To get to The Dragon's Lair, you must have defeated the Doppelganger.

i farm 3ectos and maybe20-25k a day in tombs. i use the following skills :D (Glyph of swiftness,Deadly Paradox, Shadow Form, Golden Lotus strike, Lotus strike, way of the lotus, death blossom and sliver armor. it's what i use and i make big cash... people can find me in tombs known as "Kaolin Assassin" p.m. me if anybody needs a run. (usually i solo ;D)

The build shown in this video, is made for farming the ecto-droppers in the first level only. Although it can extend to the second level. Each first level run takes less than 2 minutes and drops 0-2ectos. Your tactic seems quite good too, however I have not been a perma-blades in my time yet.

You would have to go the Tombs of Premieval Kings in the Crystal Desert which can be accessed through The Dragon's Lair.(you do not have to do the mission) I'm sorry I am not able to write/read in German.

Hey there, i really liked your videos. I have a couple questions to you; It is possible to run from LA to the Crystal desert and get to ToPK? I havent finished Proph camping, do the ecto rating drop will be the same or quite little?

First you need a run to Sanctum Cay from LA. Then do the mission. Then do all the other missions and finally you will get ToPK. It doesn't matter if you have/haven't finished Prophecies. The droprate is the same.

other than using clumsiness i think jus castinf empathy would have been faster.

If by "clumsiness", you mean Spirit of Failure then: its used for extra energy which helps make the build much more safer. Empathy shoudn't be used because of the high energy cost, but the damage could be worth it.

Sliver Armor build is faster at times, but lacks energy management. Sliver Armor also needs a mob to work while this build can work with out a mob using Spirit of Failure. It is slower in some cases, but its better in the long run.

You can always farm the 2nd level of the tombs. On the second level, there is always an ecto drop for me.
