  • just realised thats the voice from Little Britain...lol

  • So I'm just a normal guy but in different univers I'm a killer or a drug youser, rich guy

  • I want that clock @ 9:55 it's soooooo cool!

  • What the fuck just happened?

  • That asian girl is hot.

  • Feel sorry for that Russia , why did they call him Sir Gay?

  • I would go back in time and keep raping the same girl over and over . free will ftw!

  • @sunnyddude Yeah boiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. I would just go back to August 2010 and just change my life but that also sounds good.

  • This is made in 2008 and know about it

  • all the kids are like o:<

  • 2:00 - Event Horizon! He wants nothing less then to unleash hell's minions upon us. Stop him!

  • wow so over time the Moon has experienced a lot less time than the earth so if 2 brothers were born as twins and 1 lived on the moon, the other on earth, one would be older than the other after billions of years even though they were born at the same time

  • @coolasacoldsummer

idiot photons can't bear gravity and sao do not bounce... they are consumed!

man this planet is full of dummies!

  • @Peterwhitlock Photons have relatavistic mass, because of E=mc^2. Light has been proven to bend spacetime. The world may be full of dummies but not so much as there is ignorance. Research before you open your mouth.

  • @SVWillmer

    photons have ZERO mass..IDIOT!

Light does not bend space time gravity does... sheesh you have no education! You are so bad as a dummy you got 100% wrong!

  • @Peterwhitlock

Read what I wrote, photons have equivalent mass, relatavistic mass. Gravity, light and mass are all linked, given in Einsteins field equations and E=mc^2. If you doubt this, do a search.. Also you might want to view Ron. Mallett's theoretical papers on how to use photons to curve spacetime. That is the reason this documentary exists, that is the machine he is building and what this video is all about... are you that ignorant?

  • If traveling faster makes u slightly travel through time then lets say my left eye moves so very slightly faster than the right eye when looking around maybe hence my left eye moves through time faster so views an event before my right eye so that maybe were dejavu comes from

  • @deanmullen10 I really like this theory.

  • Well let's see...its 2108 there, and they don't have better holograms than this flickering thing there? what a shame....

  • @123piep123 2108 and the only new things are flying cars, a time machine and more history. that's the same as now. they don't even live on mars. i saw on discovery or national geography that we'll live on mars 50 years from now. and how about all those games and movies that were made in the 20th century - in those movies/games there were a shit load of futuristic stuff that should have been made in 2010 and earlier - go watch Back To The Future and play Street Fighter 2010

  • I hate that asian teacher, she's so annoying.

  • So are they working on this time machine or what?

  • ????? so id the speed of light doesnt change is their anyway to see wut it looks like if slowed down like how they use them special motion cameras so see a bullet go thru a bottle??? an if so wut would it look like ??? an a lazer is a form of light would that travel faster then lets say a light bulbs glow???

  • bertrand?

  • @cajonbru The name is more than likely a reference to Bertrand Russell.

  • @MidnightSundowns oooooh ok i thought it was supossed to be some shit made up randomly, it was funny that way, its still weird coz they seem like clones or some shit like that

  • @MidnightSundowns anyways i dont give a shit about this shitty documental, there are more influential things to worry about, i dont know

  • @cajonbru Well that was a rather rude comment, not to me, but to the documentary. All it was attempting to do was to break down some concepts that might not be understandable by every person. I'd say, please be a bit more caring and considerate. Sure there are things to worry about, but your original sentence of that doesn't exclude this documentary now does it?

  • 07:35 How in name of Justin Bieber could've Einstein knew it more than 100 years ago?

  • doesn't this mean subatomic particles are time-traveling since they can exist two places at the same time?

  • there is no such thing as time really is there

  • Think of the butterfly effect

If a butterfly did not flap it wings It could Change A big moment in history Like...

The bomb was never droped on hurshimashu (Cant spell) Thus the war would Contiue Longer than it should have

The smallest change Could effect The future in major Possible Ways

  • Think about when you black out

It seems like an instant to you but its really 5 or 10 seconds into the future

  • I watched part 5 first just to mess with time travel.

  • ......I know this may sound irrelevant to the time topic, but what about the room number? It's not like they should expect him to go wandering around the 57th floor checking each room for the meeting spot. =P

  • Also, at 1:22, by extracting the clip you may have released the 2D being you possibly previously skewered and paralyzed into a static existence, left it with a never to heal void of inconceivable shape within itself and a story it's afraid to share with 2D skeptics - of an invisible void inflicted by an IPO (Impossible Piercing Object) & a fable of an interdimensional portal all except one now obsessive & "gifted" citizen will afford a wide berth in their movements. Sound familiar?

  • To correct the theory , it means that even if you travel with an airplane you are traveling in time , like the documentery said when people go to the moon they are traveling in time, so you can not do that do that in real life or in space, becuase the earth is also moving and light can not go faster than the earths rotation, thus you can not time travel nor passed or future. If light went faster that the earth , there will be a light that go's around the earth all the time nonstop.

  • @4Dialga

photons have NOTHING to do with time travel..so you are not smart and not logical and offer lies as we all know photons bend and SLOW when in gravity pull not speed up!

only an idiot tells me what you just told me...are you too dumb to see photons being pulled in by gravity direct not have any effect? so why do you think gravity make things speed up and not slow down? are you on drugs?

time travel is possible because my blanket is pink "logic" makes me want to puke!

  • TIME IS BLASPHEMY

  • Comment removed

  • Confucius say: "Rhight traba bery bery phaast!! Nkay?

  • get smoe hlep from the Asian the real good at math a stuff like that all our best toys, compuer come asian folks so why not a time machine. oh pss make out of a motorhome

  • @willyhogg29 speak proper English, fool

  • there are things which are faster than light, for example, a black hole sucks in light, so in order to get light, it has to have a gravitational pull much faster than light itself right?

although it sounds crazy, its very clear that travelling forward in time is very much possible, compared travelling back in time. if you travel in a space shuttle around earth at around the speed of light, and you come back to earth, you would be 3 days older, while others on earth might be 30 days older

  • OMG, Stellar explanation of time travel in this vid!

  • @083770 Argh! Where was youtube when I was in physics?!

  • who else was on the 70's chemical rocket?

  • I don't know what's so annoying about the Asian girl...

  • @Netugi that is exactly what I was thinking while I was watching the first vid.

  • @Netugi I think she`s totally hot >_<

  • @MadsterV I'm gonna have to agree with you on that. She is indeed totally hot. lol speaking formally about informal things sounds funny (at least in the way I'm imagining it).

  • i dont know why i have the feeling that the speed of thought or the mind is faster then light

  • @FeeldahVibe001 because it is a popular yet flawed concept.

The brain works with electricity. electrons travel slower than light. Much, much slower. plus, thought does not "move", thus the comparison doesn't even make sense.

What is faster, a running man or boiling water?

  • asian-british accent is annoying

  • The CIA, the Neo cons and the pentagon would reek havoc.

I shuder to think how they are going to exploit space travel let alone time travel

  • hmm... jinns live in the 4th dimension ? ...speed of light

  • There is a question I have...

If the speed of light is the same no matter how fast are you going, would it be the same if you were going faster than the speed of light??

  • @rudyeilabouni Theoretically moving faster than the speed of light is an impossibility, unless you take into account the theory behind proposed quantum funnels

  • they are supposing that time has dimension? since they assume that an object can be in another space in the same time.

  • what would be a first demension? give me example plz ( like a 2nd demension is a paper and a 3rd demension is a cube

  • @cdlsd The first dimension would be just length. A line with no width and no depth.

  • @cdlsd line

  • Chinese lady is very irritating.

  • 5:58 that kids looks like hes gonna shit himself xD

  • any1 no wen this will b built ? i need to buy one :-D

  • I personally don't think that the time machine will ever be invented because if it was wouldn't people in the future come visit us by now?

  • @fc416 Thats a very good point, hehe

  • @fc416 Thats a very good point, hehe

  • @fc416 you never know they already have might...if it was invented there probely would be laws behind traveling as going far as interacting...weird things happen everyday sometime unexplainable

  • in the universe you can't say impossible... there are always possible things will happened in a space and matter which is the universe....i challenge albert einstein idea that he said, that no such thing that will surpass a light speed..but i think a one idea on how to surpass light speed in fact we are already discovered and used it now adays.

..if you going to surpass light speed 10 times its speed you can now solve on how to see the past. e mail me sir..jobry25@yahoo.com i will give you idea

  • @jobryan31 Yeah....you are right....Things may get impossible if you don't try to make it possible...there's always a way to make everything possible...

  • Maybe we'll need the help of Tony Stark!

  • @TheTremor209 LOL!!!

  • that asain is so awkward

  • @klarc I'd still fuck her.

  • White & Black Together Is So Awkward..

  • @klarc first of all... what is an asain? i know what an asian is but not an asain. LMAO

  • @wildpatk correct my typo, you have an interesting life

  • @klarc not awkward but has terrible engrish.

  • it makes sense that everyone has their own individual clocks. probably that's why some people grow faster, look older than others of same age etc.

  • lmao 5:40. "We know he got it right, because his theory led directly to the atomic bomb *BOOM" Most badass quote ever lol. The a-bomb just simply makes everything right.

  • We should never time travel because of our very dangerous cruel specie so i would probably travel back in time to kill the guy that made the time machine since humans arent ready for such power to manipulate time

  • does that 50% and 100% speed of light thingy applies for example cars as well?? 120km/h blue car passes a 60km/h red car... so the blue car passes the red car not at the difference of 60km/h but at full 120 km/h?? only in "slow motion" because of the theory? omg brain seizure!

  • @TheEL337dude No that only applies to light. The person in the car going slower would perceive the faster car going at 60km/h. You can test this in real life. next time you're on the highway watch as a car passes by. If it is going 70km/h and youre going 60, it'll seem as if the car is moving at 10km/h try to not pay attention to stationary things (ground and tree for example) if you do the same thing with the opposite direction. the cars would seem to be going 130km/h.

  • Albert & Bertrand talk about teasing in school

  • i've watched a lot of videos about time travel , space, & time & i STILL dont get it!

  • I am surprised they don't mention probability in this. What they also don't mention is that time is not linear, but 3 dimensional within its "4th" dimension. Time progresses in multiple directions into different probabilities. So if something "goes back" then it sparks a new position in time that we might call an alternate universe but is really just a different direction in time.

  • wow, that green light thing looks fukin awesome, its like from the future.

  • so ghosts live in the fourth dimension :D:D:D

  • OMG Its the flux capacitor! (sarcasm)

  • Oh boy. Do I ever wish that I had a time travel device. Time traveling would be amazing. It would let many solve the problems of the past, erase their sins, and even let them visit many things that people ever wished to be in or even live in the era forever. Whenever I think about it, I feel a great feeling of anticipation calling out to me that it must be done or Lord knows what happens if otherwise is done. I would have souvenirs of the future and past and have fun with it. If only I knew how.

  • asion cunt annoys me

  • someone shut this chinese lady up! shes fucking annoying

  • WTF!!!! O_O 9:51

  • then how does god fit in?

  • @omfgitsyou1

    god doesnt exist

  • @omfgitsyou1 he don't fit in

  • so if it may be possible to one day time travel has the people from the future already been here maybe they would have told us?

  • just if we could make something sustainable with a mass lower than light itself... anyone know where im getting at?

  • can anybody tell me the name of that time-traveler astronaut ?

  • Bad math!

No you can't be at 2 places at the same time because DISTANCE of the 2 points is represented in the 3d object.

    2) photon do not make direction changes, and so, a larger set of mirrors would prove the photons are falling off the center mark due to movement. The whole hing is flawed! None of it is correct! You can see the flaws! It assumes bad physics to make bad math... you do see light in a shift as you go faster if it comes from behind... it changes color shift.

  • this documentarys good but that hollogram guy is really annoying

  • In the scene with Einstein at 6:35, Where his twin brother sees the light at the same speed even though he is traveling at half the speed of light should be false. When two cars are driving on a road and one car is traveling half the speed or the other car, then the slower car should be viewing the faster car at a slower pace, this is true. Unless it due to the fact that their is no gravity in space or that the speed of light is ridiculously fast. Can anyone answer this prediction from Einstein?

  • In the

  • @Phenniix Sorry YouTube isn't allowing me to post my full comment. WTF

  • I would love for humans to create a successful time machine but if it is possible, wouldn't we have gone to the past and how us how to instead of waiting.

  • @Phenniix

dummy you not even exist if it was possible... the future changed would not include you...how dare you even think you be part of it because you are in this one! In any other time line YOUR ancestors mix different and YOU do not exist! so anyone wanting time travel are also suicidal or plain too dumb to know they would not exist the second it worked! Most people would not exist if not ALL... wars sickness different fates... only fools like time travel concepts!

  • Is that light clock real? it looks fake.... astonishing though

  • albert, bertrand, and triplet brother randal :)))

  • just cause we can blow places up throughout our planet doesn't mean we're that close to time travel lol

  • Wouldn't Bertrand go blind going towards the light head on?

  • maybe its just amazing when we think about these things and really how smart god is.

  • god? there is no god

  • BUT what if they were smart enough to realize that if they changed the past it could destroy the present and future? Perhaps they visit us using advanced technology and hide from us, and anyone who time travels is merely paying to see an important event in history occur? Albeit, it's unlikely, but still a possibility.

  • If the time traveling was possible then someone from the future would already came to our time and told that it exist.... so WTF? No one came from the future... :)

  • dude no person can come from the future even if we invented a time machine coz there an infinite number of parallel universes and thus he would be send to a universe like ours but not our version of the universe!

  • True... I'm just saying if we invent the time machine in future, then someone would come in our time, then we should saw him now if he travels from da future... =) Got it?

  • its just a theory though ...Its not proven yet.

  • can't be proven yet... I'm just guessing cuz' it makes sense! =)

  • @ReeBoox51

not at all! You see. There is 3 or 4 theorys about this subject. One of them says that you could only travel back to when the machine was build. I don't know any time machine yet, do you?

I personaly think that is more about how we travel back to past then the "time travel's rules" it self.

There are alot of methodys that could or could not let you travel beyond the machine creation.

  • @ReeBoox51 see part 3 and 4 of this documentary it will explain better - parallel universes

  • at the rate things are now, you may slow (bend) time and send a particle a fraction tick slower than present. that's all, but not to anywhere in space. but sending atom molecule at the speed of light would cause friction and none could withstand it. time traveling is possible but not for human form. they are going at it the wrong way. the formula does not exist with speed. well, at any rate all of us are time travelers anyway right? take care everyone.

  • well probably if they see us and if we saw them, the future might change.

  • if ppl after 100 year will invent time machine ..so why we dont see them coming to our time ???

  • maybe they just past by.. but I dont think its even possible unless the future is written and past is saved. well, thats just my prediction..

  • dentistdent2000 maybe we dont see them cause if they show up all of a sudden its gonna spook the world and it might stop us from ever inventing the time machine

  • @dentistdent2000

if logical by these rules-you can only travel to the point where the FIRST time machine operated. THUS,if a time machine was built and successfully operated in 2011.than people in 3000 could send messeges to 2011 ONLY because by the theory they create a HOLE or a RIFT where time/space is minipulated virtually creating a tunnel between times.one vid the guy said he wouldnt be surprised as soon as he opens the rift he could recieve messages from himself a year from in the future

  • @dentistdent2000

also the partical excelerator they are making might be a key to time travel...as it could theoritcally create black holes the size of atoms...but if that is possible they can create bigger ones...thus being able to further the STEPHEN HAWKINGS theory of time travel with worm hole technology.

  • they say its because you can only go back to the point when the first working time matching is made... it like openig a door to a place that doesnt have a door - i still think this isnt true any way

  • Time passes at the same rate for everyone. Clocks may operate at different rates. Time travel is not possible in my opinion, because time is not a physical dimension. It is an aspect of the Universe that allows things to happen: rotating stars and planets, frequencies, cause and effect, etc. But if someone invents a working time machine (not likely), then he deserves congratulations.

  • Time travel is precisely as Terence McKenna explained it. The future is a forward escape into the past. The speed of light accelerates infinitely as well, therefore fast enough to travel forward at a rate of acceleration to rewrite the same universe over again and then stop writing it anytime its been programmed to do so... You literally have to think in terms of "what would i have done to place this here, next time around." This is why the build of such permanent structures. I.e. Pyramids...

  • Sorry folks, the speed of light is not constant, it changes with encapsulated universe-scale reference density stratification layers. You don't have to go as fast as light to time travel. You only have to beat gravitational acceleration. It is not hard at all...

  • I think all this is possible in a mickey mouse scale. If you pay attention the past starts from flipping the on switch and after. He knows he will not be able to go back. Plus it only sends molecules not people. The only great benefit would be to communicate with the future and get answers to questions that would take decades to solve. Thus speeding up technology at a rate that is infinite. That is scary but a possibility!

  • but the question is how and where did that information come from? also, those people your getting the information from the future. how did they get it? the same way as asking the future too? and how did they get it? it repeats over and over!! it doesnt make sense?

  • so if a guy who invented a time machine went to the past and was in two places at once and found himself in the past would the past guy know that the future guy was him and know that he was coming ?or would he be confused not knowing that 10 or 15 years later he would think of the thought to create a time machine?

  • not possible

  • I agree. This dude's father is dead, and he's never coming back... He needs to get over it...

  • interesting

  • I get it now...... Time DO not slow down.... It just took more time to travel at a greater distance......

  • question...so if einstein's twin brother was goin faster than the spseed of light would he still be able to see the light because acording to this theory speed has absolutely no beasing on the speed of light....which means even if your goin faster than the speed of light, light will pass you at the speed of light???? which kinda contradict the speed of light????

  • It is impossible to go faster than the Speed of light. According to the Theory, for reaching such speed it is needed an infinite amount energy.

  • I think there is a difference In professors argument:

When he folds the paper and pins in it..

the world is two dimensional an object is three dimensional, while in his theses the object is three dimensional and the world is four dimensional, ie, time, and what he wants to do is to travel only in 1 dimension that is time dimension, what would be his shape there, and what are the other dimensions in the world where time is the only one?

  • i think you're wrong. the piece of paper is just bent. it's not turned into a three dimendional object. like the vid, it says time is flexible. uof course what people don't get is that this also crosses the principal and theory of teleportation. but that's anothe story. but basically put, you shorten the distance. in teleportation, you shorten the distance of location. in time travel, you just shorten your time it takes for you to go to the future. it's a longer explanation to go back. no room.

  • I want my time machine to look like the tardis :).

  • I want my time machine to have Rose.

  • Where can I get that green light thingy....!

  • @Celler2 I dont think its real

  • @Celler2 you mean that light tick clock? its not real. the green light is animated, but the CONCEPT is real

  • @Celler2 u cant it doesn't exist ... i thought i did and i wanted one aswal ahah

  • @Celler2

    from ebay

  • come on guys

    if time travel is possible

my wife from future comes and kills me :P

  • Awesome

  • She's hot!

  • no...

  • know what effects it will have by changing history as after the change we wont have any memory of what happened before the change because it's now become our new reality

  • how do we know for sure that he hasn't allready made this work in the future and has allready changed things because if he did change anything we wouldnt know because it would have changed us and everything around us and even the person who did the changing who knows maybe dejavu is something in time changing from something someone is doing in the future. we will never really

  • WHICH IS WHY IT'S SO DAMN CONFUSING D: You think that maybe people from the future are trying to prevent us from understanding it? You never know really. It's possible.

  • @denosc possibly but it could also divert tragedies as well

  • @denosc Probably bacause the time traveling period lies only within the period the timemachine is activated and de-activated. Saying that: sending messages from the future to a time before the machine is activated isn't possible. But saying that: wasn't that a subject in this whole documentory? I haven't see the whole thing yet though. Only to this second part of it.

  • Regardless of whether time travel is possible or not, I believe that messing with time would have dangerous consequences.

  • @TejasM14 of course it would

  • @TejasM14 Why do your words seem so notiable to think about them ! Me Being Not Albert Einstein but red neck from Louisiana ! I sure wish we could ask Albert about this ?

  • @TejasM14 Probably but should that stop us from evolving?

If the multi verse theory is right then there are more important things then our safety, so risking our lives might be the right thing to do.

  • @TejasM14

    Why? Based one what?

  • @TejasM14 yeah i guess things are going smooth worldwide at the moment :D

  • @TejasM14 its the nature of humans to mess things up. So let us mess up with time.

  • @TejasM14 they thought the same about traveling faster then 25 km an hour

  • @TejasM14 wrong they said in another vid. you'd wouldn't be in the past of this universe but in the past of another universe.

  • @TejasM14 that's because interfering with God's plan has devastating results right?

  • "We know he got it right, because his theory led directly to the atomic bomb."

I think I want a new definition on "getting it right"

  • wtf is wrong with these people

  • o.o...

    *head explodes*

  • wow that girl is hot
