Like any form of education, the methods you use are important. I was homeschooled, but I was always very engaged with other people my age and in my community. You can be just as engaged or alone (or worse) at a public school as being homeschooled.

I'm graduating from college in two weeks, woohoo! My major is journalism...something you might consider if you enjoy writing, communicating, and learning new things. :)
