I'm not a fan of the color scheme and the wings have to go. So far only Masterpiece Megatron has been worth collecting in my opinion. I don't even care for the G1 much.

The masterpiece megs is cool but a bit flimsy feeling great for display not play.

Henkie clasics is really cool for mes. Animated leader megs has a very G1/Judge sort of feel. the side of the head reminds me of a judge wig for some reason

I can't imagine this one being better than G1, Masterpiece, Cybertron or even Animated. I just find his gun mode to be kinda silly, and his looks are not that good. But some people say things are better to see in person then on a screen. Would you say that's true with this guy?

Great review of one of my favourite figures that I have in my collection.

I do like the Henkei colours better, but the Classics colours are very nice too.

If you can get the Henkei version for a reasonable price it's a good figure. But honestly this one of the few times I prefer the hasbro version for some strange reason. I have the Henkei too, but it just looks wrong in gunmode with that colour scheme.

Great review ! Maybe i should dig out my bootleg Megs' to review which is pretty cool. It has lights and sounds, an removeable arm cannon.

I don't have this guy but he looks interesting. I'm with you on the wings; it reminds me just a little too much of the early Beast Wars stuff where you just open up the alt.mode shell to expose the robot bits. A playable TF? Always a bonus :). I think I might get him on the basis of this review; he looks fun. 5*

With the purple he reminds me more of Galvatron than Megs.

Also FYI the orange plastic will just fade out over time.
