@deatscart for me personally tankers are not a problem, they only becoming annoying if I am playing Tarka since their ships have like the worst fuel carrying capacity, it hurts to forget to bring a tanker with them if you know what I mean. The other races are fine, once you hit the refinery, 1 or 2 of those and you will have so much fuel youll probably forget that you had those big tankers in your fleet :)
actually, how many 4x games did you play? i mean galactic civilizations 2 is probably the king in term of balance (graphic, gameplay, interface, etc.) i am thinking of buying sword of the stars, but i find it lack... life..., the interface does not tell when you loose ships in battle and requires allot of micromanagement. But the good thing is the battle system, changing tech tree (lots of replay value). But basicly this game is all about war, nothing else. What do you think?
@deatscart Ever heard of "Stars!"? Now that was ALOT of micromanagement. Anyways you got it right, SOTS puts more emphasis on combat then other areas but there is diplomacy and empire management. but your wrong about info access, its very streamlined and simple to access as you can see in the 2nd part to my LP and the other parts once uploaded. apart from combat theres next to no micromanagement, empire management is very very simple and easy as well as diplomacy.
@deatscart Oh and before I forget, if you have tried the demo, compared to the full game that's completely updated, its like your playing two totally different games. Thats how outdated the demo is to the actual game, its changed that much.

@met2002 What do you mean they CAN careless? Does this mean the zuul still care? Are they concerned that dolphins aren't fish?
