This is funny, how you - americans are little bit slow. Pitts management offered a contract to Jagr for funny money just to make a gesture. Pitts management did not want to sign Jagr at all. All other clubs offered him serious money for a season. But explain this to americans... Impossible
@ondrasbloger1 this is funny how european dolts make statements with zero facts. only a handful of clubs offered jagr ANYTHING. almost all of the offers jagr received were in the 2 million to 2.7 million range only one club of the handful that were interested in him were willing to go higher. the pens pull jagrs offer followed shortly after by the wings because of svobodas piss poor efforts to drum up a bidding war for jagr that never really materialized.
I'm not a big Jagr fan anymore, but he DID win 2 cups with Pittsburgh. Got to respect that!!
