I think the Aussies now know what it's like to hear a close call after Mike and Darrell did Bathurst for US television. A few spins, the big Besnard crash at Griffins, and the final two laps had Aussie V8 fans clamouring for the Joy/Waltrip call with the intense tone they offered on Lap 161. They now know what we've known -- this group is the best in motorsport.

FOX is by far superior to any other network carrying nascar!! especially espn!! ever notice how people don't start complaining about the racing until the races start to be shown on ESPN? HINT HINT MIKE HELTON AND BRIAN FRANCE!!! (or they could just use the same broadcasters on all the different networks, haha, that would work!)

Absolutly! How is it that the most exciting part of the season (supposadly) i.e. The Chase for the Cup, is given to ESPN?! Nearly all of the memorable races I have seen have had Fox commentaries - 2005 Coke 600, 2003 Darlington race (Craven V Busch finish), 2005 Darlington race, and my favourite, the 2007 Daytona 500 - just seeing the finish again, and their calls, makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Amazing stuff. Mike, Larry and DW are the voices of NASCAR for me right now.
