@TSHTSMusic I would say heat it up with a blow dryer or some other method, albeit make sure it's safe, and then apply a coat or two of super glue to the peg joint, letting them dry inbetween, obviously. Just to be safe, let it sit for a few hours after you're done.

After that, you may want to heat up the socket the peg joint plugs into so that it goes in nice and easy and doesn't scratch off any of the dried super glue. Some joints can be an absolute nightmare due to all the tech these days.

I've read some of the early comics. What does that have to do with anything? The characters and story are more violent. So what? I grew up with the cartoon Turtles, and I loved every minute of it. So, I'm naturally inclined to prefer, and talk about, them. Obvious elitist is obvious.

This is why I own a 360 AND a PS3, so that it helps keep me in check and void of rabid fanboyism.

Does the clear gloss you put on it keep the paint from coming off now? btw i LOVE the figure, i didnt buy em in time and i had to order the Black and White ones.. so im going to repaint them the original toy line colors (with don being an olive green) and such and so on, so id love to know if that stuff keeps the paint from coming off, cause its gonna suck if the paint keeps chipping lol

can someone tell me, what are the difference between the oval casing and the square casing. like the pakaging. i see them in different pakagings, but i dont know which one is worth more than the other? tryin not to sound like a noob. but hit me up.

if no ones informed you yet the square ones are the only ones that come with accesories beyond the standard weapons they also come with a peice of street and something random like a hydrant or lampost to make a base the tube and 4 packs only come with the figure and weapon unless there the comic con exclusive ones in which case they come with everything and are usually autographed by the creators

It's a protective coating.

I had to touch up a huge scratch in the paint on his front shell and I didn't have very good acrylic paints at the time, lol.

I have the box black and white ... there's an issue with the legs on Leo. I noticed both have come unhinged at the hip on the smaller end of the peg they're on. I didn't notice it the other dayso I dunno if I was being too rough with him or if it was QC. Ah, well.

I got my Raphael (and Donatello.) today, he's everybit as good as you said, cept for his fingers are so stiff its hard to get him to hold his sais between the fingers all the way.

Regardless, now I have all 4, with the base, and they kick ass!

Very nice review. I wish I could find more images of the B&W versions. Interesting to hear about the box versions having worse paint than the individuals. Now I'll have to think harder about getting the box or not, let alone if I want the color or B&W versions.

The boxset is probably the cheapest route. Get them if you can. You definitely won't be disappointed if you like the Ninja Turtles.
