She's certainly better than half ALL of the nith graders that come to my school from eighth grade...she's got a really good bow arm, her left hand is pretty decent (of course, she's probably learned vibrato by now) and the notes were well enough in tune. The only thing I can say with any sense of authority on the subject is to stand up straighter. It seems all her weight is being put into her torso.

Yeah, cut down on the open strings and figure out vibrato. Everything sounds better with vibrato. I wouldve hated to live in Baroque times when nobody used vibrato. You also have to put feeling into it. Even if you have a simple piece like that, feeling could make it sound much better. Violin is one of the hardest instruments to let your passion come through on. Keep working, and good luck.
there are appropriate times to use vibrato and open strings, not all styles of music or certain phrases would necessarily sound better with it. but I agree with feelings, could do more of that.

very well done- but i have some comments. try using vibrato, fourth finger (so that your arm doesn't flail around), watch your flats and sharps- they're getting a little squeaky at points- and try more dynamics. kinda boring song, i might suggest something by Handel which requires much more mood put into it, and even requires more advanced positions. There will be less fast notes, but its clear she's very good at those, so i'd suggest something different to teach her to put some heart into the music. Try Allegro Concerto Grosso Number 6.

i dont play for a symphony :) im in high school, istarted playing when i was in the 2nd grade i think. but ive greatly improved, and yeah i make mistakes lots of them haha. but she has great potential

nice violin playing, so thats grade 8? must have taken some time to aquire the skills to perform like that

That was very lovely playing, but I wonder if she'll do even better if she isn't so self-conscious about her dress and heels? Maybe she could wear something less revealing, and keep herself in flat shoes during performances...for now, at least. Less to worry about while she's perfecting her craft.
