There was also the scene with Sarah Connor taking out the chip in the Terminators head to reboot him but she almost ends up breaking it. There was a few more scenes but cant remember.

@naturalmystic33 It's extremely expensive to create plausible actors via CG, and even then you tend to get uncanny valley'd. Plus, if you're not going full-CG you have to jump through a lot of clumsy hoops to have the fake actor interact with real objects and real actors.

Terminator ! and " were good because of additional performances from Linda Hamilton, Michael Bhein and Robert Patrick T-1000 who in my opinion was the scariest terminator in the series. The problem with this film is that it was meant to depict a post apocalyptic period were machines rule. It just did not feel like it. It looked more like a x-tremes game show.

T1, 2 & 3 are all the same: good guy rescues protege, they run, bad guy pursues, he catches up, they fight, good and bad die, protege survives. Now there's confusion and frustration for a menace you don't see, a new guy you don't understand, it's a huge mousetrap, and it all ties up nicely in the end.. I really liked it.

I liked all 4 movies a lot and ..this maa be too much...but I even liked the Terminator -Sarahn Connor Chronicles tv-series also! Yeah the series draws totally different timeline from the T2 movie. But it was nicely done. Too bad they ended it in the middle of cliffhanger. Well life goes on. I'm probably gonna get the series on DVD. But he'll be back in T5! :D

I don't get why some people are saying that Terminator Salvation sucks. To me personally Terminator 3 Sucked, and Terminator Salvation more than made up for the mess that T3 was, and that is saying alot plus it's the begining of the war with Kyle Reese only being a teenager and this CGI version of Arnold was good looks like him from T1 oh not to mention it also shows how John Connor got his scars from that intro in T2 though this franchise is becoming a never ending chain sequence now!!!

CGI isn't quite up there yet with reality. There is much more to it than a 'perfect' face. The reason Avatar is so convincing is that its CGI is based on actual human acting. The CGI Arnold face was simply 'pasted' onto another actor's body. That's why it doesn't work.

@Mondocane1 Yeah. Not nearly as horrible as Number 3, but it was pretty terrible. Plot was so uninteresting. The setting was so unlike how it was depicted in the first two. Bryce Howard didn't fit the part. The plot just didn't jive with the first two very well. There was so much potential for a better story. A group of regular ol' Terminator fans could have come together and written a much more interesting story.
