@jonny5777 it is probably the hardest. unlike other automobile makers, they keep their traditional and iconic looks but have to reinvent it somehow. while others just make a new car and design whatever they want.

@spanishprisoner I disagree why should cars look the same for years? think about fashion, furniture etc it all changes with the times. Jaguar tried for years to keep afloat while trying not to upset their core it was only by making the new XF, XJ and XK totally different that they secured their position in the market. Citroen, Peugeot, Vauxhall all the same story. keep it fresh i say.

@doormagic yes but only a mercedes its nice in city traffic but a car like bmw you should drive with manual shift! I own a e46 330i touring and its more the feeling! The feeling that YOU drive the car and not the car leads you. On Autobahn i always get wet when i shift down and pull forward then shift fast up to maximum speed... that is feeling :)

there is even no difference between 3er and 5er. i think this is not a good idea to make them look so alike, especially with the dimensions.

for example; if I have more money than the 5er price tag, I would definitely pick one of the 3 series model line
