how many titles did this have? in Aug 81 -1 tv station ran the tv spot as Mindwarp,Another ran it as Planet of Horrors. The Fresno Bee ran the ad mat as Planet of Horrors. Then a few months later i saw yet another tv spot ..and it was now Galaxy of Terror !!
I first saw this in the 69th street theater in Philly.
Ya might call it a grindhouse.
It was torn down long ago.
Friends from school worked there and would let me in for a late show. I'd bring 40's and we would spark one up in the projection room.
You wouldn't think so to look at the joint (with the torn up seats, rats and roaches), but that place really packed 'em in some nights. Maybe they couldn't charge full price, but movies like this, or: Killer Paraquat Zombies, had an audience.
The ending of this vid where the so_called "Space werewolf" roars and Robert Screams kills me; "That is LMAO! I laugh my ass off everyime i see it; But if you get the opportunity veiw the trailer on MySpace; You'll see where Robert comes face to face with Llvar's corpses "That's funny as hell! Especially the reaction Robert gives is even more funny."
I love this movie "but" am dissapointed that they did'nt post more scenes "Especially" the corpses scene "That was some eerie shit there." Brujari post it!
Sorry duffytanglewood, I was going to reply to your comment, but I marked it as spam by accident. I was going to say, Roger Cormon does a lot of mix-and-matching in his movies as well, using footage and props from 'Battle Beyond The Stars' and 'Galaxy Of Terror' in later films. He's not the only one, I've seen footage from Star Trek TNG TV series used in the film trailers.
Yes, this is the Roger Corman film and duffytanglewood is correct -- for the first few seconds, this trailer incorporated shots from "Battle Beyond the Stars."
now that i've looked it up on imdb, you're correct. this is the one with edward albert and robert englund. but this trailer looks pretty bogus (which wasn't uncommon in the 80's). it's mixing footage from "battle beyond the stars" and "galaxy of terror."
This is from a 16mm trailer. You can find this movie for sale on eBay. James Cameron was the Art Director and second unit on Galaxy of Terror. Many of the people who worked on this movie went on to do ALIENS.
@demianslab and at the end of the scene, it sounded like the actress REALLY enjoyed it, if you know what I mean. ;)

It might've been a rip off of Alien, but for a 10 year old back then, it scared the shit out of me just perfectly.
Alien ranks as the scariest movie I ever saw, but I was 7 years old back when that came out, so what did you expect?

Remember watching this on video as a kid back in the early 80s, frightened the crap outta me. Now I just think its hilarious.
Fine selection of horror B-movie stars though.

This movie still rocks for a B flick, a metal soundtrack would have been great.

Aren't the monsters in this movie not real? I mean, they're basically hallucinations that kill people?

James Cameron and Bill Paxton both worked on this film designing the sets.
