Unfortunately there will never be commercials like this again. The irony is that if one like this would be made again, it would really turn heads & get attention and be very good for the advertised product.

Being 7 years old in 1987 was an awesome time. I so remember this commercial! It brings back wonderful memories from my childhood. I so wanted that Santa Countdown Calendar but Dad said no.

the old days were fun. you cant just do neat things like that. these days you have to run off and register and enter your "access code" to have a chance to win. oh well. :(

I remember this. Don't you love watching old VHS tapes from shows you taped in the 80s. I just love watching the old commercials. Especially the Christmas ones!

Better tape those VHS tapes to DVDs before the VHS tapes ware out. That happened to us, it was sad. Lost all the Christmas specials we had on tape.

I remember this ad from one of the Christmas specials we'd taped off the TV and watched every year. Can't remember which special it was though! Oh, the memories.
