@TokSnygg You say you're not getting any better... But I'm not sure what that means. 1 thing. Practice. Everyday. Don't get discouraged. Good things take time. You don't get really good at this without a lot of commitment. If it were easy, everyone would do it. Right?  So you have to have the commitment.

The next thing is that if you don't know your scales, learn them... And learn them in at least 2 octaves, both hands at the same time, but I think you should push for 4 octaves.

@TokSnygg This develops your coordination and many other things. But you'll learn the notes, too... how they go together. Makes sure you learn major and minor. And keep at it. Don't quit. If you've been taking for 2 years, then you are committed. Just keep at it! :) Good luck!

@Obiz22 I took a lot of lessons... How I put this together, though wasn't from lessons... Just practice, learn how to play, learn music theory, learn how chords fit together... learn why sounds 'do' what they do... It starts to makes sense after a while.

Music becomes like colors. The sounds are artifacts... The colors guide you in new directions...  Lighting your path...

@tomasich123 You're right... I changed it. This was the first video I posted(2.5 years ago) and a lot of videos I saw had a similar title, so in order for this one to show up as a 'relevant' video with those, I named this one similar. I don't like that old title, either, good call...

I do what I do, but the last thing I am is "cocky", and you're right, there are tons of players much better than I.

No offense to the guy in the video, but nothing in this video is remotely difficult for a professional concert pianist. I can play solfieggetto (cbf checking the spelling) myself exactly the same and by no means am I an exceptional pianist. This guy is very good, but ultimately not in the same league as real concert pianists judging by the songs in this video. Sorry if this offends anyone

it was both. When this was uploaded, YT had terrible compression on the vids. Notice there is no HQ qualiity option either. They ruined the quality... Listen to some of my other vids, especially the newer ones. YT finally plays stereo files as the default... thankfully! :D
