  • he don't know guitar solo. fail

  • 3:38 for retarded 1, 2, 3, and...

  • Andy you are a good guitarist.

  • What is that book in the background?

  • It sucks when you find a good version and then the guy does full speed, and there is no tab. I dont want to have to hit pause and replay the shit a million times to figure out what he does on some parts. Sure would't pay money for it. He has the music in front of him, wtf?

  • @jessee1969 EXACTLY, and correct lessons always seem to be the ones that NEVER have tab or chord explaination. If he would just at least name the chords i could get it but noooooooooo lol

  • RR1?

  • noise gate man. noise gate.

  • not so much inpressed!

  • HELLO MR. ALEDORT.Did u sub for Richard smith at usc in the late 80s????was that u?????

  • Very cool lesson !!

  • That's just some sick ass wicked sounding chords. Like a buzz saw ripping though wood or something.

  • I really wish he would slow down a bit doing the intro riffs. Hard to keep up with him always doing it at song speed.

  • Randy makes the guitars sing beautifully..Just amazing talent !!

  • kick ass riff at 2:00

  • Wish you'd been around 25 years ago, when I was a kid and still interested in playing. Great video! You take the time to explain what is going on in the riffs and even how to tune it to the particular song.

  • is his guy kidding, i fell asleep in the first minute watching sleepy head

  • AJ199508, you are actually pretty close to the truth, though it wasn't an AC/DC song you are hearing. The punchy rhythm to Flying High Again was "borrowed" by Randy and Bob Daisley from 'Alright Now' by FREE. Randy, Lee and Bob did this all the time, as most professional song writers do. Check out 'Believer', also on Diary,... intro riff concept and arrangement "inspired - borrowed - adapted" from HENDRIX's 'Purple Haze'. Good ear my friend!

  • 2:00 only Randy thought of riffs like that.

  • i remember Andy as a contributing editor from Guitar for the practicing musician way back in the day ...... Andy, I owe you so much for the tabs, you taught me and my brother to play the guitar

  • I want that guitar... but here in Colombia is very expensive

  • does someone have a rr3, is it awesome?

  • @CrazyEiche Just got an RR3 love the sound and feels very natural for classic rock

and metal any thing with a floyd rose is just great prefer it to the spring tremolo my strat uses

  • @CrazyEiche rr1 is the best

  • what pedals or amps is he using ? i like his tone alot

  • iv got bc rich charvel gibson and nothing will beat my rr5 :) long live roads man

  • "so this song is played with the guitar tuned down a half step, so lets tune up" OH THE IRONY XD!

  • That tone is outstanding.

  • Jackson axes are the easiest playing action guitars ever , gotta luv-em, nice vid ty

  • @JACKSONAXER I agree. I've played all kinds...there are a couple other guitars out there that are pretty dang good. But Jacksons are the best!

  • that is a jackson rr3. You guys should see as custom model, THEY ARE BEASTLY!

  • the intro sounds so much like "nothin' but a good time"....but i hate that song and this song kicks so much metal ass that it spits fire

  • @chopskater Ummm I'm not hearing the similarities between those 2 songs at all...

  • Damn, that tone is HUGE.

  • @MooseyFate100

Agreed huge sound. love to know the rig.

  • RANDYS THE MAN.

  • Love The Sound <3

I Want The Guitar. Plz :)

  • its tune down dummy

  • WHAT A TONE HEY!

  • 4:44 ... dont do that lol

  • which Jackson RR is used in this video? it looks kickass like all other RRs

  • @CiviC092 I Think that's the RR5FR cause you can see a little bit on the side of the headstock that its painted which means it's a neck thru one and the tremolo though I couldn't tell whether it's a Original one or not I'm pretty sure it's not a low profile one so it couldn't be a RR3

  • Jackson Guitars are like a sore dick. You just can't beat em.

  • @Raistlin222 Haha.. Where you from!? ;D Get back up on the horse and BEAT IT! ;D JUST BEAT IT!! Haha! xD

  • @Malteboy777 I'm in Vegas. It happens that way here lol!

  • @Raistlin222 hell yeah.

  • @Raistlin222 LMFAO THATS SOOOO FUCKING TRUE

  • @Raistlin222 Jackson for live \m/

  • @Raistlin222 good call! (Y)

  • @Raistlin222 I gotta say Schecter.

  • @Raistlin222 HAHA! I said the same thing about Epiphones and Squiers only "They are like herpes. You treat it, give it anything, do your best to make it better, but in the end you're fucked."

  • @Raistlin222 jacksons are great, but for my money you cant beat a gibson les paul

  • @Raistlin222 the quality went a little downhill when they were bought out by fender

  • @dimlightbulb10 I have Jacksons before and after Fender. And I can tell you they only got better! The Jackson custom shop is unreal...

  • @Raistlin222 thats because you are paying out the ass for that guitar.

  • @dimlightbulb10 I really haven't spent an exorbitant amount...and the money spent on a Jackson guitar is well worth it. If you're a musician and you spend less than $1000 dollars on a guitar....that's NOT out the ass haha. I know guyz that spend 10k bucks on a single guitar. That was several years before I became endorsed. Granted Jackson makes guitars with the aggressive player in mind. So they aren't for everyone. But they are the best guitars top to bottom for metal.

  • @Raistlin222 they are the best guitar for your playing style. i actually prefer Gibsons for metal even though they are not specifically made for it

  • @Raistlin222 i got same guitar like a boss.

  • @Raistlin222 I've got a jackson Dinky that I -play more than my Les Paul and my Strat

  • @redc338able Now that's what I'm talkin about!

  • @redc338able love my Dinky!!!!!

  • This is suppose to be a teaser, why the FUCK do they include the tuning part? Just say "This DVD is tuned to Eb".

  • But Ozzy Osbourne can't play guitar?

  • Ozzy Osbourne!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Agreed....sick glassy/tube-y tone.

  • the intro reminds me so much of an AC/DC song

  • @aj199508 or for the youngsters Airbourne

  • @xKunjx i am a youngster im 15

  • @aj199508 yup its because of the overdriven open chords

  • @aj199508 Or randy rhoads being a badass. I like my choice.

  • @aj199508 like Angus can play that, yea the hell right

  • @aj199508 exactly what i was thinkin, i was just waitin for Brian to begin singin lol

  • @aj199508 wich one?

  • @aj199508 yeah....the intro reminds me of a FREE intro more though...

  • @aj199508 But oh so much better than a AC/DC song. Not that I don't like AC/DC, I just like Ozzy more. :P

  • @aj199508 its just cuz randy's not playin it.

  • @aj199508 Okay??? It reminds me of a simple chord progression that indeed does follow the lines of what Angus Young would do, but is it relevent to bring it up? I think not.

  • @slicknik13 Yeah, it actually is relevant. Noting commonalities in songs helps improve musicianship. Since this isa learning video, I'd say it's useful to bring up. Lighten up, dude.

  • @GuitarCrazyManiac ofc,it's a fucking randy rhoads song,he feels commitment to get a better tone xD

  • @Pallietime

    ...in the butthole, maybe.
