I put in a few other clips, such as bomb plants and close quarters to shake it up but not even that keeps you from being an ass. Do I need to go make an engineer montage to make you happy? This game was the best for sniping altough I abused a lil, I used the gol and ran around quickscoping and noscoping and I'd get in and around 35-5 most games and my k/d was like 4.63 but overall even hard scoping took skill and this game truly was a sniping game I wish it was as popular as COD. headshot is always a 1shotkill

all bolt sniper rifles take 2 chest shots to kill on long range

every sniper has it's own + and - so choose wich you preffer ^^

i mostly prefer the SV-98 since it has 10 mag capicity

Message to all Recon users in any skill range! WARNING : M95 Has lower accuracy than most usual snipers, So if you put magnum ammo on it, the acciracy goes EVEN lower!!! I learned this the hard way with 12x scope.... You can really tell the difference.... From my experience it only happens with M95... Or maybe its just the M95 itself

@Driftking3268 From my experience, and also data files from the PC version, all BOLT ACTION sniper rifles have no spread, only bullet drop. And bullet drop across all bolt action sniper rifles is the same EXCEPT the M95. The M95 have LESS so you don't have to aim as high, technically making it MORE accurate.

the only diff between the bolts are;

-m95; less bullet drop - less bullet travel time - highest reload / rebolt - able to take down trees

-m24; fastest reload speed / bolt speed

-SV-98 (most ugly lol) 2x the mag capicity

- GOL; most accurate (crosshair aswell) - no mildot, might be harder on huge distances

tell me, should i buy BF:BC2 ? i luv to snipe, but atm i play cs/ mw2, were you pretty much use the sniper like an assault rifle, since there's no big distances, and the ak for example is in some cases as effective at long ranges..... reply someone ? =) it looks way more fun

@oonmm I would recommend it. The levels are much much larger and you can equip sniper rifles with a 12x scope which lets you see even farther (but its still harder to hit since you really need to pay attention to bullet drop and giving leads if the target is moving). Also the assault riffles have a decent amount of spread and reduced damage at long range which makes sniper rifles a real advantage at long range and truly useful.

@epkfaile367 Well its May 11th, which means the m93r got it's boost on console like it did on the PC version. I didn't notice much on the PC version though. I'll give it a shot, but it's accuracy over range is just so crappy. Mostly spray and pray since no amount of skill cause the spread to be focused at distance.

@popops3 Nope, if the dot appears in the video when I am not directly looking at them, that means someone on my team was looking directly at them and hit the spot button. If I am looking right at them and they get the red marker, more than likely I hit spot before I shot in case I didn't get a headshot and a teammate could kill him before he gets to cover (or I take a second shot). The marker stays on the person longer if I keep looking directly at the person also.

@Alketas17gr This is Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (BC2). I actually play almost every FPS/TPS ever made all the way back to Wolfenstein 3D and Rise of the Triad, and a good deal of RPG's (as well as RPG/FPS/Stealth hybrids like Deus Ex and such) and some racing and "action-adventure".

@Xxkillcrazy99xX Thanks for the compliment, though how are the hard shots lucky and how is something made to look NOT lucky? Only lucky shots in there was that laggy one where there is no way I got a headshot but it still gave it (discussed below somewhere). Everything else I lined up and took the shot and nailed it. Especially my long distance ones, those are so hard that luck really cant help, you have to find the right time to shoot and give proper lead if need be.

how big is the hit box on console versions?? there was many shots there especially the one at 2:57 ish that would miss by a mile on the PC version. I understand its harder to move crosshairs with a game pad but jeez come on, at least the crosshairs should be on target at least! And no im not on about aiming aboev them for bullet drop.

@lawsie69 Its actually the same size, that particular shot there was lag, you can see after the shot my aim snapped to the right a little, that was the server resyncing, I didnt move my aim. I actually left that kill in there cause I thought it was funny, not an actual cool kill, lol.

@just0that0guy That's a spot marker. Either you or others can put a marker on an enemy for a limited time by pressing the spot button. I can't remember but if you play hardcore I think spotting is turned off or very limited. I just don't like hardcore, it's usually a snipe fest since sniper bullets are a one hit kill even if you shoot a person's toe, and that's not an exaggeration!

@Ri1seAgainst It's the second most power sniper rifle and its fire rate (how fast you can bolt the next round) and the reload rate is twice as fast as the M95. both the M95 and the M24 do 100 damage within 6 meters and the M95 does 79 damage at the farthest range and the M24 does 75 damage. Not that much of a difference, though the M95 can actually damage helicopters and cars.
