It was from a 20 mph roll to about 90. And my car isn't COMPLETELY stock I guess.. I have a few power mods.. But regardless I could care less about drag racing anywho. Real racing is on a road course. And RX8s are kicking some serious ass in road racing these days just sayin

Those Mustangs are made SOOO horribly for track racing. Two words.Live Axle. Who makes a modern vehicle with (almost I might add) 500 HP and puts prehistoric technology in the drivetrain and suspension! Ford does. The ONLY mustang that would kick my ass on the track is a Boss 302 Mustang. THATS a real Mustang.
@frostbytes89 ....but there are other handling mods besides axles...upper, lower control arms, struts, shocks, tower braces, chassis...these are all things ford has improved...maybe you should watch some road racing on tv or even youtube...and FYI the new 670hp shelby can almost outperform an zr1 on a road course....and runs 11.2 1/4...STOCK....vs the zr1's 11.3 STOCK....and the reason they use live axle is to get the power to the ground easier...

In GT however theyre highly modified 3 rotor monsters occupying the 2nd thru 6th places EVERY race. Every once in a while they beat the Camaro and corvette that's always beating em. They come ahead of BMW, AUDI, Porsche, and Mustang. And you already know the only mustang raced is the Boss 302R

i have a tc with i/e and i beat my friend's rx-8 racing from 0-80. The 2 cars have close to the same amount of torque but the tc accelerates faster. after 80 rx8 blows the tc away
It's easy for an rx8 to not be running correctly and be way down on power. I wouldn't count your experience as normal. They are definitely faster than your pos tc. Which last time i went to the track, i put a bus on a tc. 14.2 vs 15.5 rofl.

Put a cold air intake, cat-back exhaust, and header on your TC and you might come close to making what a bone stock RX8 makes. Even the supercharged TC's can't keep up with an RX8. My RX8 with a cold air intake will creep past convertable 350Z's. Nice replacement for the Supra Toyota.

@frostbytes89 ....but there are other handling mods besides axles...upper, lower control arms, struts, shocks, tower braces, chassis...these are all things ford has improved...maybe you should watch some road racing on tv or even youtube...and FYI the new 670hp shelby can almost outperform an zr1 on a road course....and runs 11.2 1/4...STOCK....vs the zr1's 11.3 STOCK....and the reason they use live axle is to get the power to the ground easier...

@ROBBY639 I watch em all the time on speed too! You can't watch the GS class.. The rx8s in GS are modified 2 rotor engines. They never even get close lol.. Always in like 26th place. In GT however theyre highly modified 3 rotor monsters occupying the 2nd thru 6th places EVERY race. Every once in a while they beat the Camaro and corvette that's always beating em. They come ahead of BMW, AUDI, Porsche, and Mustang. And you already know the only mustang raced is the Boss 302R

i have a tc with i/e and i beat my friend's rx-8 racing from 0-80. The 2 cars have close to the same amount of torque but the tc accelerates faster. after 80 rx8 blows the tc away

so assuming you have a rx8 and if you ran a 14.2 im also assuming you put some money into because stock they only run 14.5 a few people i have seen run 14.4s in em but at best there performance is unimpressive. so you would be my "pos" by half a car cause im far ahead of that 15.5 mark hell im in front of that 14.9 mark who the hell buys a $30k+ "sports car" that cant even compete in its class. z's kill it even hyundai tiburons kill it lmao. good luck with your investment. Put a cold air intake, cat-back exhaust, and header on your TC and you might come close to making what a bone stock RX8 makes. Even the supercharged TC's can't keep up with an RX8. My RX8 with a cold air intake will creep past convertable 350Z's. Nice replacement for the Supra Toyota.
