  • I got my way up to the front no problem.

I was expecting much louder but it was fine. A lot louder than any other band of the festival but it was just a total gift being that close and experiencing that show.

    Best of Coachella. MBV

  • the best of coachella

  • that sounds awesome ha.i was eating chinese food and rolling a joint

  • when this song was over we put our close back on.

    great memory.

  • The last time I saw MBV was when they opened for Dinosaur Jr. in 92 and blew them the fuck off the stage. I drove 8 hours and spent three days in that desert to watch them again. If you were there; count yourself blessed. The noisy and droning bits of songs at the end; the ones that make people cover their ears because they can't stand it...That is what makes them...MY BLOODY VALENTINE. A-fuckin-men

  • my girlfriends mom said it was too nosey i was like i thought they sounded great!

  • I'm a little late to the party, but I just wanted to tell you that your post made me really happy. :)

  • stop whining you big ole babies... take a nap next time !

  • I could finally see My Bloody Valentine live... they were amazing, although they could have cut that long extension, in the song that lasted for about 20 minutes, in half.

They are one of the loudest, ravishing, superb and strangest bands that anyone can see live!

  • They rocked @ Coachella but what was up with them holding that note for about 30 minutes???

  • It's called the Noise Holocaust and it is an integral part of their shows. There was much more than one "note" in that...it was a universe of sound, just very noisy and at incredibly high volumes.

  • errr whatever...it was getting exhausting

  • AMAZING VIDEO!!!! I was off the left, middle of the crowd...definite highlight of my Sunday at Coachella.

  • I was amazed when the crowd thinned out after the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. I was about 40ft straight back from Bilinda, and was absolutely floored. This was stunningly good, and really one of just two or three reasons I absolutely had to go to Cocahella '09. Thanks for the upload.

  • heck yes i as there, with earplugs. finally after 18 years got to see MBV

  • I was at the very front on the left fences and it was amazing!! I'm a harcore Cure fan and I also deeply admire MBV for being the shoegaze pioneers, I love that genre, so there...

besides... what Cure fan is ignorant enough not to be familiar with MBV???

  • funny mbv & ride used to be 2 of robert smiths fav bands

  • Wasn't there. Thanks for the post. Not bad for a vid cam Mic.

  • I filmed this with a digital camera btw, not a camcorder.

  • All the Cure fans were scare shitless when the Holocaust came on!!

  • This was by this by far the "quietest" MBV show I've ever seen (since 1991 I've seen 4). And they were quite good. I never had to wear my ear plugs even!

  • what the fuck are you saying...

hahahah... mbv is the greatest band ever.

  • coming from the guy who listens to "data rock"

  • thanks for sharing!
