lol i can run bc2 at highest everything and 2x AA(i dont use vsync or hbao, it makes it makes the screen glitchy not laggy) 1080p(1920x1080 res.) full hd on a 46' tv using only a xfx 9800gt(512mb version) and an e5400 oced from 2.7 to 3.44 on air and 2g RAM at 667mhz always 40fps+, but i recently uped my RAM by 4gb more as well as got a 470gtx and a q9550.

@docstruthers It's something only supported by the ATI 5000 series as well as the Nvidia 400 series. The option is available for this game because they made use of some of the new features included with DX11, but the only way to use them is to use one of the newer series cards.

Unless you guys are talking about someone randomly rebooting (not performance issues) then temps will have very little to nothing to due with it XD. The temps will affect your stability and max over-clock potential but at stock 70c will bring no performance difference than 30c really. You can upgrade to ddr3 and meh... its a modest improvement at best but it will improve the performance depending on how old your current stuff is.

man i got exactly same graphics card as you i got a ati 5850 and a q6600 which atm is clocked at 3.2 ghz yet i only average around 40 fps minimum in a intense firefight i get around 30fps running in windows 7 ultimate 8gb or ddr2 ram wtf could be wrong ?

DDR2 even though its 8gigs will bottleneck the card, and the processor too. You should look up a cheap deal at newegg for an i3 mobo combo. You can get the mobo and ram for about 350 and you would see double the performance even with only 4 gigs of ram.

These new cards are too fast for their own good. I know someone that has a 5870 and doesn't get near my performance because he's on DDR2 and has an older Dual Core. One thing you could try is pushing the processor to 3.5 minimum

you don't need water cooling like me, just get a decent after market air cooler and some good thermal paste and your good to go. It's pretty cheap to - maybe $30 to $50. The OCZ Vendetta is an amazing LGA 775 cooler and it's cheap

Yeah this one has a hippy helicopter pilot that makes some pretty funny jokes here and there. And they have some really funny dialog if you listen one that really stood out to me was "The dallas cowboys go to war every sunday" and just funny comments like that during game play.
