People talkin about GN'Rs genre of music.... The correct category (in the early days at least) would be Sleaze Metal, but it's actually really hard to pin point their genre as the members brought in elements from punk, classic rock, hard rock etc. For the later years, not sure. UYIs might be considered a bit Progressive Hard Rock. Today they might fall into Alternative Rock? Hard Rock would be the best way of describing them I think.
