I don't know, I view education as a matter of national security and therefore I feel like the government should do all it can to help educate its citizens. Public schools I feel are fine because they give everyone the chance to go to school. Corporations would make it unaffordable for some, not all, but some, and that I feel is unacceptable.

Had congress passed "Hillary-Care" as the Clinton's desperately wanted, it would have resulted in a huge tax increase and a blow the economy.

The poverty rate in the US is closer to 12 or 13% according to severl gov't offices like the Census bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, OMB, etc... And the 13% figure is being 'generous' if you will since the poverty figure is somewhat skewed due to our out-of-control illegal immigrant problem (thanks again Democrats). Factoring out the influx of poor illegals, the poverty rate in the US is closer to 7 to 10%.

Public schools I feel are fine because they give everyone the chance to go to school. Corporations would make it unaffordable for some, not all, but some, and that I feel is unacceptable.

@scifi75 Clinton was lucky o have been President in the 90s at a time when interest rates were low, World wide energy prices were historically low, the Soviet Union collapsed which justified massively lower defense spending, and a Republican majority in *BOTH** houses which held Clinton's feet to the fire on welfare reform, and low or no taxation. Had congress passed "Hillary-Care" as the Clinton's desperately wanted, it would have resulted in a huge tax increase and a blow the economy.

The poverty rate in the US is closer to 12 or 13% according to severl gov't offices like the Census bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, OMB, etc... And the 13% figure is being 'generous' if you will since the poverty figure is somewhat skewed due to our out-of-control illegal immigrant problem (thanks again Democrats). Factoring out the influx of poor illegals, the poverty rate in the US is closer to 7 to 10%.

I stand up for my rights as a US citizen. My rights to free speach, the right to bear arms and freedom of religon. I support the troops of today and the past. I believe if a man works for his money, that makes it his money and the government shouldn't take a larger percentage of ones money wether he is a billionaire or a hobo.
