Oh man, thanks for posting this video! My mother showed me her new transitions glasses today, I said "lemme check if they work" and shined a UV LED onto one of the lenses creating the same effect as the video

..But the spot didn't go away, and I freaked out thinking I damaged them. Looks like it just takes time heh

my glasses do that, it sucks though when it ISNT sunshiny [like freaking now, its WINTER] and my glasses STILL get dark

I don't know about lasers but when you go into the dark the glasses lighten and darken if you go outside...

Yeah photochromic lenses are fuckin sweet. I had em as a kid and all the dumb bastards in my school thought I was wearing sunglasses after recess but it was just my glasses responding to the outdoor UV's rotflmfao. I'm finally getting them again along with AR coating in a few days because my regular pair of glasses broke and I need new ones and a new eye appointment anyway.
