I've always loved Jimmy Reed records ever since i first discovered him on John Peel's radio 1 show in the 80s. Jimmy Reed...John Peel ...the world is not the same without you both.

I like Jimmy Reed very much. He influenced many so called swamp blues musicians like Slim Harpo, Lazy Lester and Jimmy Anderson. The song you played sounded similar to "honest I do" which was a big hit for Reed. I like Jerry Reed, too and would not blame the ex-husband for not knowing.
