@maxe39932 - Etiwanda's show is very good, but no where near the complexity or entertainment value of Rancho's show. RCMC has a super color guard scoring 85.5 versus Etiwanda's 70.0. If SCSBOA would add this score to the overall score (it currently tabulates this separately) RCMC would have won the Colony Band Sweepstakes Award. Most people were surprised RCMC did not win Sweepstakes because of all the visuals, music and General Effect. The show will only get better for future comps.

Saw this live. Was there for daughter marching in another school. You were the first band I saw that day. As soon as you performed, I thought, "THAT'S a sweepstakes performance." Bravo! Very unique and well executed!

Stood at the top of the stadium seats just in front of the judges. I heard one of the judges say, "that's a lot of visuals!" I think the judges were very impressed by how much was completed for the first show of the season.
