wow, flashback to my mom playing this while we painted a closet & bedroom in a new house when I was a kid. My mom knew french and would tell me what was being sung. I do not remember very much at all though. Was so long ago.

I love this sort of stuff, so much character, real music.
excellent cela isn `t souvent une chanson dans mon esprit qualifys comme bon. Il me fait rêver des étés français, les pique-niques dans les champs de soleil et voyageant en arrière du magasin avec un baguette et des charges de merde de vin!! tres bien que le vieux français se retient.

Recuerdo la primera vez que escuche una kncion de edith, yo era adolescente y la cancion era la vida en rosa... no sabia quien la cantaba solo SENTI una emocion que no pude explicar, no sabia quen kntaba esa cancion y lo olvide, hasta que un dia vi el trailer de una pelicula acerk de una artista francesa llamada edith piaf, y escuche ese acorde;MI CORAZON LATIO CON FUERZA y desde ese dia siempre la escucho, y knto con ella, a mis cortos 23 años amo el legado que edith dejo, descansa gorrion..

It is strang that the french lyrics are so different to the english ones. It's as if the french lyrics are telling the story when she first heard the song and thought they were so pretty "Pour moi, c'est la plus magnifique,Car ma chanson ne finit pas."
Then in the english verison she is remembering that event. And in both she does not remember the words
