Who the hell would think this is a good part of a rally track? Difficult, sure, also dangerous. Many times you don't have a chance to do a practice run and shit like this comes completely unexpected.

This is a seriously steep bit of road and I honest-to-god would not like to get it wrong. I've navigated over the mineshaft several times, and only once have we had a problem - we hit a pothole at the bottom. Nowadays for clubman rallies they put a marshal in at the top and you have to come to a complete stop on your first pass, and go over it slowly on your second. that's the condition we've been given to continue using this jump

But the mineshaft stage is a very good stage ive driven it that many times that i have lost count, but the co driver shuld have told the driver that it was comeing too!

It's a World famous stage that all competitors know about and no doubt they were on pace notes and recced it the day b4. It's the driver that decides (probably a split second before!) whether they want to be crowd favorites or just get over it intact :)

The driver wasnt a virgin at the Mineshaft (greatest rally stage in the world and definately not manmade!)

the did the stage on the Sat and afterwards at the service park they were telling everyone that on Sunday they would really go for it - As you can see!
