Nice! I just have discovered that my girlfriend have a 1899 fusee pocket watch that looks great...I feel I want to know more about this...By the way, great music...who they are?
@MrSpiccato71 This watch is a family watch past down to me, we think it came with family from Ireland in 1818. Watch was made in London around 1798. This got me started in collecting old watches and learning to repair, etc. Music is my son and I. He on a mandolin, me on a 12 string guitar. Thanks for looking.
@GTweed0605 Nice watch and interesting history behind...it sounds like a nice passion, I really like vintage and classic watches too and I am gathering information about...maybe buy some cheap broken old pocket watches and some repair books and give it a go. Regarding your music, it sounds great, it looks like talent runs in the family!! Do you have a title for the melody? I may try and get a partitur and try it with violin. Thanks for sharing!

@MrSpiccato71 My son developed the tune on the mandolin. We have always just called it "Brandon's Song". We need to name it I guess. If you work out on a violin, email it back, I would like to hear it, good luck.

wow what a great watch, do you know how they made a chain out of wood?

@ElginPocketwatch The chains in these watches are steel, like a bike chain. Amazing how they are made.
