@lucasguillen hey, i hope i am not too late, but go for an i7 920/940 and overclock it with a good cooler to 4ghz. this will give you great performance because fsx needs a lot of cpu...

tomshardware slammed the GTX260 for FSX supporting the 9800GTX. Well that is a shame because i have just sold my 9800GTX to buy a GTX260 lol

I think the GTX260 requires PCI-E 2.0 slots on the mobo to handle the extra bandwidth the GTX260 kicks out otherwise there is bottleneck

Woah man amazing!!!, just asking does the 260gtx increase fps because people say fsx is cpu based?, i also found info that the 200 serious transfer load from the cpu to help out, is this true?? thanks.

of course it increase fps..HOWEVER if you have a poor CPU, no matter how good of a card you get, your quality will still suck. I'd say no dual core below 2.8Ghz and no quad core below 2.4Ghz for FSX's CPU.

i think the best card for FSX is the 9800GTX+, since after that level, the game won't show much improvement in fps by getting a higher level card, because by then it's the CPU that's bottle necking the performance, not the card anymore.
