When replaying the game this song gives off an "end of an era" vibe to me. It's almost as if the song is paying tribute to the empire that will soon be history.
I remember playing this game when it came out. I was about 13 or 14 years old, maybe. Just recently, I got to share this game with my wife :) good times will live on.
I remember setting down my controller just to listen to this song all the way through the first time I played it. This game had more unforgettable moments/scores than any game before or since, rivaled only by FFIV IMHO.
I gotta say I know it's been more than 3 years since I last play this game, not pretty long I guess but memories man...Good times.
First time I played it, I was like "Cool, I'm serving an Empire" x] To find out the opposite...BUT TO RAISE AN ARMY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which beats the Empire. Awesomeness.
at first the empire were the good guys then with in minnuts they turn on you what the hell one of the best storys ive read just beat it today for the first time XDe
this is the best game on earth outside of earthbound. my girlfriends loser ass cousin borrowed my suikoden one and two, sloppy sonofabitch returned it with just the suikoden 2 cd!!!! i was fucking shocked, and now suikoden two goes for 200 on ebay.
i love they way the story develops its like playing the best book i ever read
