Heavens to Murgatroid! Until now I had NO idea there'd ever been a TV series based on Raymond Chandler's iconic Los Angeles shamus! I always liked the late great Phillip Carey...always solid, no-nonsense & dependable in any role. THANKS very much for uploading this delightful "blast from the past" for us to enjoy! CHEERS, mate! :-)
Even though this briefly aired on ABC in the 1959-'60 season [Tuesdays, 9:30-10pm(et)], it was co-produced by Goodson-Todman's "Bilmar Productions" (one of their rare efforts outside their traditional game and panel shows) and NBC ["California National" was the network's production subsidiary in the late '50s and early '60s]; NBC Films had the rights to syndicate this off-network. This episode, "Murder Is A Grave Affair", originally aired on March 8, 1960.
