  • omg.. my sweet GF 9800 gt ... but now it is so old :( i cant even run gothic 4 at more than 4-7 fps maxed.. (new phisX & shadows kill this card) anyways it was a great card. Cheers.

  • @orlandothx yes.. it has aged. in fact just YESTERDAY a memory chip fried on me and I just got an evga GTS 450. but now the 9800 is a great budget card at about $100 or so.

  • @hiPlasma yep u can stiil playing all the "new " games.. but with just a few exceptions.and by now its a really cheap card. if you combine this one with a cuad core it stills working great in mostly of the new games. Cheers.

  • hello there brother i just wanna ask, what proccessor do you used??? is the amd athlon 64 x2 4800+ is compatible with this videocards geforce 9800 gt? please someone reply thanks!

  • it is compatable.

  • Alien ware?

  • ew... selfbuilt

  • hahahahaha at 0:33 so funy!!! the monster have good intelect :P and reflections eheh

  • im having

    XFX 9800GT 512MB DDR3 (no OC)

    1GB RAM

    Window XP Home

    Intel Celeron D @ 2.53Ghz

    BIOSTAR P4M900-M4 Motherboard

    15" Screen (Compaq 5500)

Can i run this game ? Or should i need get up to 3GB RAM , or maybe i should get a better motherboard and processor?

Please give me suggestion , thanks

  • it's acceptable. you should think about an upgrade in the next couple years if you can afford it. But I've run a crappy computer myself for about 5 years.

more memory, and just make sure to get latest Nvidia drivers!

  • hmm thanks , but im running kinda lagging in Fallout 3 at around 15fps

    if there's a nuke = 9-7fps

  • sure thanks , i just found out it's my core problem , because it's kinda old

  • U can run fine. I have tried it in 1 gb but in for XP for vista 2gb ram .

  • thanks , maybe a decent frame for better core system

  • Lolx, you can run this game for sure.

    maybe at 30FPS.

    This game is already old..

  • really? but this game look kinda high graphic then Fallout 3 , i run Fallout 3 @ 10-15fps

  • such an awesome game, i downloaded it from steam only to find my pixel shaders where to old :P buying the 9800gt in the summer definitely!!

  • Make sure your PC can handle the 9800gt. If you have low Ram or a Sucky Power Box, Your going to fry your computer

  • yep but no need to wry about Power boxes or PSU coz they made a low power 9800 GT which is great too

  • not bad game, but enemies were predictable and killing them was lways the same.

  • 0:36 = pwned

  • lol

  • agreed

  • OMFG, ur so noob paoskpoASKpoAKSPokasPOkAS

  • looks damn boring..

  • wasnt that 3 lol xD

  • this game is great 1 of my fave

  • xD a HD 9800 GT or?! xDD

    and nice vid,^^

  • if u put the game on full everything apart from the screen res does it all run smooth?

  • yes

  • cant wait to get this game

  • looks nice on your comp

  • my friend has this giant ass plasma screen tv in his game room that makes nintendo games look amazing. this game looks really good in high quality

  • Q mal q juega x dios!!

  • i have a 9800 gt, 4 gb ram, intel pentium 2.5ghz dual core, yet i ran lost planet DX10 maxed out 1680x1050 and no AA and got really crappy framerates.

do you think my cpu is bottlenecking the card?

  • 1. They did a crap job porting Lost Planet from the 360 to the PC. They didn't optomize it for shit.

    2. Get the latest 182 drivers from nVidia, they state they've upped the games framerate by 20 something percent.

    3. i've never run the game above 1440x900.

  • 80 percent. :)

  • So if i dont have directX 10, will games run as smooth using directX 9? Or is there even a performance difference?

  • directx9 runs games usually with more frames than directx10

  • Ya, it's really just a few features that dx10 has that dx9 doesn't... as far as games today, dx9 is your fastest bet.

  • can u play this multiplayer online?

  • cool dude, i played the game on xbox 360 elite with an 40inch hdmi tv but....its fucking better with the 9800gt dx10 !!!

  • Best configuration for play this game in High, please.

  • for the price 9800gt is the best at the momment..in my country 9800gtx cos 430 dollar // ati 4870 350 dollar // gf 9800gt 250 dollar //and in USA 9800gt cost 140 dollar. The performance by graphic show like 75% at least compare to 9800gtx so worth the money and Q6600 also is the perfect choice to change my E2180 3.0Ghz OC. cos can go up to 3.0ghz and more with a nice funcooler

(not the watercooling) to play crisis i better way for next generation of video cards and CPU,and wait as long as...

  • Well I tried it again and it seems to be running steady now at 59FPS under DirectX10. It doesnt seem to work right now anymore under DX9 what is strange because it was the other way around earlier. Too bad I got 2 goddamn bars on screen now that im running under DX10 instead of DX9 lol. Oh yeah settings can be set to high high with AA to max without any framedrops. :)

  • ps. its a Q6600 2.4Ghz QuadCore processor.

  • I have a 9800GT(512MB)with 2GB DDR RAM. When I set AA to 4x my FPS drops to 26. what gives?

  • you know man, this game is a total bitch-bitch about it's visuals. In NO WAY can i go 1680x1050 with any AA. This vid is in 1280x1024. And even my decently small virus scanner will knock a frame or 2 off the fps. This game likes to LAYER effects, so your card is already making 4 passes on EACH frame before displaying, 4x AA theoreticly add's another 2 full passes it has to make on each before it can display it. i'd test a game like GRID and turn it on and off for more of a 'real' test.

  • i have a oc 9800 gt 512 mb...650 core clock memory at 950 mhz on a quadcore 2.5 ghz 8 gigs of memory and plays crysis sweetly..

  • i have the 9800gt too and i run it at 680 core, 900mhz mem<--standart and 1700mhz shader and i gonna buy the q6600 and oc it to 3,2 or more. can u say me how much fps i would get in crysis on very high??

  • a million.

  • I have the 9800gt oc'ed like yours and an q6600 @ 2,7ghz and i run crysis @vista 32bit@on very high and 1280x1024 without aa with 25-35 or more fps.

  • 9800GT = 8800GT (same card,same specs)

HD 4850 is much better choice...

  • 8800gt=g80 chipset

    9800gt=g92 chipset

    ------------------

    8800gt=runs great on lower res.

    9800gt=runs great on higer res.

    -------------------------------

found that in goolge, so the 9800gt beat the 8800gt easly

  • Wrong!

    8800GT is G92 like 9800GT!

Read some more than come here smart guy

  • cool thanks for saying that

  • cool, im planning to get a 9800gt to but i dont know. Is it a high end card. And what settning do you have on crysis if you play it. But nice vid 5 stars to you

  • thx, it's a damn decent card, i bought it because i only rarely get to update my comp. (i JUST bought all this about 4 days ago lol.) But the 9800 isn't as rediculously expencive as the x300. And when i need to update again, i'll just be able to buy another 9800 and connect them both in sli.

crysis is untested, it's next on the list though :)

  • okej, because i have 2600xt and i just wondring if that gonna be a big change

  • Crysis runs a about 28fps on Very High settings at 1280x720

  • Hi , I know someone who got a 9800GT.

On call of duty 4 it works on max settings with capped on 125 FPS.

If he do /com_maxfps 999 it brings the fps up to like 150 - 200

And then on MAX SETTINGS :p dont forget that.

Crysis runs also very smooth on this graphic card.

  • hell ya

  • are you kidding its higher end,the 9600gt is where the stuff comes in,any card below that is crud like the 9500gt or 8600gt or 8600gts,high end is 40gb/s bandwith and up. that is a fact!!!!
