Right to privacy. Speaking for guns groups, the top donors to citizen groups and organization supporting the right to keep and bear arms should not have to be published for those groups to send out emails to their members informing them of the positions of various Federal candidates at election time. Groups who strictly adhere to your right to privacy by not publishing your names as donors are effectively muzzled. This misnamed act is an attempt by the parties to restrict political speech.

I am also Campaign For Liberty. I already frequently voice my position to my Representative ( the very author of this bill, unfortunately) so I'm not afraid to be type-cast and singled out by either of the current two party consortium, because I'm sure my name is already on someone's list.
But, it's just wrong for the government to ask for specific contributor names unless NO groups are excluded, AND ALL contributor names (regardless of dollar amount) are given and openly public. (No chance!)

The only true constitutionalist libertarian in Congress to speak out against the war when even the dems were afraid to say something. The only guy to propose HR 1207 to audit the fed while eveyrone else is paid for by corporate lobbyists to keep the fed secret. He's also the only Republican to oppose GW Bush. I believe that our financial system is being brought to it's knees by the Federal Reserve, a private banking cartel that answers to no one.
