Shaba Games looks to be doing a Spider-Man game that FINALLY brings him justice. The combat looks AMAZING, the story of a symboite invasion is great, and best of all...ITS NOT BASED ON A MOVIE OR CARTOON SERIES!!! It's just a straight "comic book" game, and I wouldnt have it any other way. I'll be picking this up on release day guarenteed.

not really. if it was it wouldn't have him infected. This is a distinct storyline of it's own set in an alternate marvel universe (which is probably gonna make it better than most other computer games set in that marvel multiverse)

i think this game is actually gonna be good. they don't have to rush with the deadline of coming out alongside a movie so they're able to take their time so maybe that extra time spent will result in a better game, certainly looks like it so far. :D

Hmmm this combat system reminds me a little of Assassin's creed's, it's probably based on timing, noticed the slow motion moments? probably it tells you when to press the button in order to chain counter attack or combos.

IGN said that you can team up with heros and also roam around as villains and maybe other heros. I doubt Carnage will be in this game cause this would be somthing he would do(the story) but they made venom do it so i don't know well have to have our fingers crossed
