Does anyone know what the back up vocals are in this song? Sounds like they say "In our wake;" "On our way" something about a "wave" or perhaps "word(s)" or is it something Norwegian? All the lyrics I find do not show this line.

25 years ago already !! Sounds now a little outdated, but Le Tekro's solo is still one of the best ever recorded for that style of music. I remember clearly the day i bought the album, sat down with the other guitarist in my band and analyzed the whole thing. Le Tekro played kick ass solos on the entire album and we thought he was truly original. Still a valid idea nowadays even though the music seems kind of "passe". Great memories..

Nights of the new thunder was the first viking metal album, although TNT didn't exactly look like the viking bands of today. The cover, the song titles and lyrics, and diesel is sitting in a viking ship in the video. Great stuff
