I have a couple of his traditional native inspired pieces which I prefer. Very undervalued if you like and appreciate woodcarving. While I appreciate the work, the modern carvings do not represent the feelings I get from his carvings of indigenous people.I wish him a long life. What a character.

I visited his shop while in Ecuador and LOVED his stuff. I brought home one of his modern pieces and I wish I had bought more.
