  • damn, i wish i could remember where my copy of this is.

  • are the sk8ters actually building the ramps too..?? classic

  • this video changed my view to punkrock, hardcore punkrock and skating. back in the days, `87 i guess, i was bmx ing with my guys. but then some dudes started skating. even if i score them off in the beginning, shortly after i bought myself the tony hawk skull deck and also started skating. and then, savannah slamma, summer 88, thats it dude!!!the golden age......

  • Best part starts at 5.05..looool

  • hahaha its cooksie i guess? still crazy as at that time, wonderfull

  • Thanx for uploading !! Watched this vid so often those days....drunk Injures were a great band. Thanks

  • Thanks for posting this. I don't think I've ever seen it before and it was produced during my skateboarding heyday. Without YouTube, this stuff would just fade into total and complete obscurity.

  • Wasn't Savannah Slamma I from 1987?

  • This Video inspired me to learn FS Slides and some other cool Tricks. I was 14 back then.

Caballeros 360 Aerial is still legend!

  • I was there and even skated with some pros I was16

  • From Brazil: muito legal! um dos melhor vídeos que já vi. Classe A! Depois que vi esse vídeo construi muitas rampas e coloquei tudo na rua. Ficou um verdadeiro circuito de skate. Valew ae! Betão de Osasco

  • Music by Drunk Injuns! Great job Thrasher. This is on of the best skate vids ever...

  • Classic Skateboarding at its best... Damn those where gr8 years...

  • please post slamma 2... i was at 2. i also rember crazy lou's.. dirty basement of the old junkmans daughter. dang that was sooooo long ago.

  • holy crap, crazy lou's- I used to ask ppl if they remembered that spot but nobody remembers....ever! old skool atlanta - back in the day oh yeah. you could buy crappy old used boards for super cheap. boards are probably worth a million dollars now.

  • It's been posted by the same dude!! ;)

p.s. that was weird all the Civil War history they plugged in before the videos...I guess its what Savannah, Georgia is all bout! ;P

  • nice shot of don hillsman and his boom box

  • Didn't Don work at Skate Escape in Atlanta?

  • i dont remember him working there he may have been sponsored by skateescape im not sure

do u remember streetwaves or surfs up?

  • All I remember was Crazy Lou's, Windsurfing Atlanta, Go with the Flow, and Stratosphere .. in that order. I grew up in Atlanta and skated from 86 to 89.

  • yes he did

  • The more I watch this the more I think this is 1987 (Savannah Slamma) not 1988 (Savannah Slamma II) which I was at, 1st week of April.

  • oH MAN!!!! BACK IN THE DAY...

    MAXIMUM RESPECT FOR POSTING

  • You can tell Stacey P directed this, eh? Thanks for posting. This brings back such good memories.
