Because all throughout season five, the point was stressed that Dean and Sam were like Michael and Lucifer - which is why they were supposed to be the vessels. John Winchester is the boys' father. During Thursday's episode there was a preview they aired that was at least two minutes long with this same song. It looked like a movie trailer. I thought maybe the episode was over cause of how long the preview was, but then I realised it was only 8:36(that's when the longer preview aired) and the show is from 8pm to 9pm(here in Chicago).
