Bigfoot sighting in Florida (Ocala national forest)

The old Tarzan movies, from the '40s, where filmed at Silver Springs, which is very close to Ocala and the forest. When the filming was over the film crews left the monkeys and primates behind. The monkeys have spread out since then into the neighboring counties.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but as an advid hunter/hiker I've noticed that any large animal with fur and no shower access smells. Its not like the animals are like, all hell who invited bigfoot to the party he smells.

I don't believe it to be a bear or a dog. The shoulders are wide and the head just set on the shoulders. Eye sockets very deep in the head. It's either a) a fake skunkape costume b) a real skunkape. If it was fake, I think they would have gotten a little better shot. I vote for (b). I'd get a perspective on the height of the plants where it's standing to size it up It's clearly above those stocks. I'll post the enjanced stills for you as a response.

I live in ocala i've heard several stories of people I know who are well respected who told me of their sitings of big foot in the national forest. Normally by the oklawahoo river. But I got to say the video looks as if the blurd out where big foot was suppose to be.

I go camping in the North Florida woods alone all the time (couple times a month). I've never seen, heard, or smelled anything unusual.

it's really too blurry to tell. sasquatches have been known to freeze in place like that when someone gets too close and they don't have time to run away, so i'm not ruling that out. check out some of my vids.

Looks like a canine to me. If you slide the player around 3 to 7 seconds you can see a muzzle and looks like it's panting

as opposed to a bf right ? your knowledge of canine physiology rules out a possible unknown creature ? this "dog" was really big and never moved. at 39 secs you see it's right eye clearly as well as it's open mouth and large teeth

I see what you saw. How far away from it were you? In Florida they are called skunk apes. We call them Wo' okie~ George Lucas the word to describe the giant Chewbacca in star wars.
