It looks expensive, but the mic costs about half of what a Shure SM58 does :)

(although you will also need a powersupply or a soundcard with 48v phantom)

thanks, that condenser surprised me quality wise actually since it costs just around $130-150 or thereabouts, for all my youtube recordings I am running it through the line6 gearbox software which has some amp simulation and effects, and is very handy for a few things, but it really sounds a lot better when I run it straight into fruityloops and use the higher quality stuff you find there
