  • the real bikes begin at 2:36 and end at 3:50

  • this is stupid.

  • I just purchased two VFMoto V3s one for me and the other for my son who is 17 years old. I drive mine to work every day and my boy rides to school(when it is nice out) with nearly 3K miles on mine I can say that this bike is a blast to ride. I just sold my BMW R1100RS and do not miss it. The V3 turns a lot of heads and you have to answer a lot of questions but who cares. The top end is around 80 mph you can cruise all day at 70mph easy. What other bikes in this class you can buy two for $5000.00

  • that V3 is horrific

  • I'd buy a used jap bike any day before I'd trust that chinese stuff !

  • What a good review! A bit more detailed and longer would've been bliss.

  • wtf suzuki!

  • Ninja and Suzuki is ok but Chinese bike looks very ugly.

  • @FuckCheaChineseGirls I actually rode the Suzuki 250cc earlier this year, and it holds up pretty well for a beginner's bike. The problem is that the motor sounds a little clunky at times, but overall, it's not bad.

  • Hyosung all the way :)

  • I really hope nobody is buying that Hyosung crap when bikes like the ex250 and tu250x exist.

  • @daybreak1HP I am sure you did lol, maybe one day you will learn how to handle and corner it.

  • Sorry but the V3 looks great to me and is getting great reviews all over the net. Just fun to ride and handles good and the best part in checking prices they are the least expensive. From most of your feed back tells me you do not read reviews. I remember late fifty's when Honda started automatic bikes to the US heard the same thing as I did here. Hard core bikers do not want change.(to bad)

  • @deerebill01 I have personally inspected brand new units from CF Moto (not just this particular model either), they are poorly built. The painted parts all have trash in the paint like they paint them outside. The fasteners easily rust (and they may be rusted as you buy them new). Several of their units were DoA and would not start. Yes they are cheap and you get what you pay for. You may get lucky and you may not.

  • fuck anything that comes from china

.if any of you are thinking to get 250 cc DO NOT.in one month you will die of thinking about that mistake

  • Beginners have no clue about bikes so yeah there should be many more reviews about them to help us get started...

Once you have ridden a bike for 1-2 years you will naturally learn about the big bikes anyway.

  • The Suzuki is a great 250 for general use, emergency use and will get around 90 mpg if you ride it in eco mode. Not bad for a 250. If you buy one and take simple, general care of it, it should last you 40 years.

  • BLANK STARE "it's got muusic"

  • Have Fast Can A 250cc Bike Go....Can It Make It To 80

  • @BryanBlaz usually about 70mph but the ninja can get to 100

  • @BryanBlaz YES... the ninja 250 will do around 100 mph tops.. probably faster if you are lightweight and you add an exhaust...

  • ...biginners bikes ha,,?

  • oh and not to mention : Hornet CB250 , CBR250 , KR250, FJR250, ZXR250 =)

  • NSR250, RGV250, RS250 , TZR250.. better than any of the modern 250's =) well in their own class

  • Small displacement is back in vogue now, given the volatile economic market and the price of gas! I wish the Japanese manufacturers would import many many more 100cc to 400cc models.

  • 1:33 thumbs up if u think he sounded like havedogwillscooter LOL

  • I want the hyosung to match my genesis coupe, but I keep seeing great and not so great reviews. Can owners tell me if you like it or not? Please be honest

  • @crazyidiot101 I've put 20,000klms on my Hyosung GT250R and it's been an awesome bike 99% of the time, that said, I can't wait to buy something faster and more reliable ie. CBR600RR etc.

  • GO NINJA!

  • the hyosung and ninja are probably the best starter bikes out of the other bikes

  • V3 is the most ugly bike i ever seen...

  • Based on the music, this "shootout" must have taken place in an elevator :P

  • i like the suzuki , i love the classic look

  • Are these the same as mopeds? I like in alberta Canada and I can drive a moped with my learners can I drive this with only my lerners?

  • I would go with a Hyosung GT250R or Kawasaki Ninja 250R

  • Lets clear this up, a moped is a motorcycle that also has pedals, popular in the sixties, seventies but not really now, they were generally 25cc to 50cc and light in weight so as to assist the engine up hill you could pedal, the use of the term is changing but when people use the term "moped" thats what springs to mind, not 250cc motorcycles

  • @2wheelsteve i have a puch magnum moped. horible thing to ride.

  • @choopdewoot Yeah I know the bike, a lot of fun though youve got to admit, good luck

  • 250ccs R GREAT

  • ive seen the v3 randomly on moped sights lol

  • Ghey. No debate aboout it. 50CC or 60CC and get with it.. Kaw...

  • 250cc supersport is for fags

  • the Ninja 250 is fuel injected.....??

  • @flyingrhino90 Only the European version i think

  • @flyingrhino90

    HELL YEAH

  • @flyingrhino90 no, it using carburetor

  • the wind noise got annoying after a while

  • WHY OH WHY IS THE TU250X not made for California? I want this so bad.

  • 250's are nice, you get to more enjoy the ride rather than just trying to stay alive while screaming along at warp speeds, that v3 looks horrible though, but the tu looks very sweet, I wouldnt mind having something like that as an alternative to my 600 honda

  • i had a 250 ninja and its way to under powered for me

  • yeah agreed, But it does make a great economical ride to commute to work are just to have if the gas shoots up out of control again. That is what I would use it for. I got a yamaha r6 though and I love that power.

  • That Suzuki TU250X is a TRUE GEM !

My style & its'a Thumper. It has a nice finish but SHOULD have a tacho, especially for the price. Not too much to ask. Nice bike though, something America needs. Jocko on his 999 will go flyin' into a wall while I patter on by ;)

Most 250's are hovering around 4k now. Too bad, they used to be an affordable US 2999- msrp.

It's all about enjoying the ride, not horsepower & expensive upkeep. The wind feels awesome at 40mph, especially for the new rider.

  • I like the TU250X as well. You can't go wrong at the price and the quality seems to be high. I agree a small bike that you can just hop on and ride would be fun. A tach would be nice as well. That is what turned me off of most Harleys. I don't care wether vibes tell me when to shift or not, I want to know what's going on. Whether it is an 18 sec 1/4 or 10.

  • Really wish the Johnny Pag could have worked. Its either the Ninja 250r or FX-3

  • There should be more videos about beginners bikes -a thing very important if you ask me.

  • @Psetobg Dam rite u r

  • I had a gt250r for a few months, did everything I needed it to do, including long range trips (300 miles). Great bike, never had any problems with it, but it does look flimsy compared to the bigger brands of bikes and once you step up to a 600 or 650 its hard to go back to the 250cc engine, although its a blast in the twisties

  • the 250R or the JPM FX-3..I am on the fence. I have heard nothing but good news about the Hyosung tho.

  • i heard the hyosung starts falling apart reallyy fast... cheap parts... rusts quickly.. etc.

  • @PensiveIntent i have one, its not like that at all.. love that bike

  • i have the 08 gt250r, i love the bike, every way you go, people will ask what kind of bike or your bike look nice. the only bad thing about this bike is, it break down easily for no reason. if who ever buy this bike make sure you buy it located.

  • 250cc sometimes it's all you need

  • Man!!

    That Hyosung surely looks fantastic!

    Has anyone ridden the gt250r?

I wouldn't mind getting started with that one

Ninja feels a little small for me

  • @Pekeccs ..im on the same page.. i really want to start with a hyosung. my friend has an 09 ninja 250r and my god its small.. the hyosung fits me perfect though. the gas tank just gives me more leg room

  • Excellent review!

  • DUDE!! You guys are awesome!!! finally a US 250 review!!

  • Yeah, I was thinking, "Hey that J. Pag isn't so bad, but I'd worry that it wouldn't be reliable".... then... breakdown. Ha. I'm waiting to see a 'tweener class evlove here. We have 120+ hp 600cc bikes, right? Where are the 50-60hp 250-300cc bikes? I love the tech of the 600's and liters. I just have to have gas mileage if I'm going to be able to justify a bike.

  • "50-60hp 250-300cc"

I don't think you're going to see power in this class, because there is no major 250cc 4-stroke racing class. It would take a lot of engineering to build and support 50hp@250cc and make it reliable; it's much easier to build reliable 250cc engines capable of 15-20hp. The Hyosung at 30 brake horsepower is probably as good as you're going to get.

  • I'd be happy if they would just take a 600 and cut it in half. The bulk of the research is done. How to control the throttles, dual fuel injection, dual throttles, etc. make the power development possible, as shown in the 600's. I just don't think they think people would pay 600 prices for 300s. I'm just saying I would, and I'm probably nearly alone on that.

  • I would agree with you. I went out and found a GPZ400R for $900. I wish they still made the 400's in Canada.

  • @rickrussell My Kawasaki ZXR250C has 45HP :)

  • there's the honda cbr250 that makes 45hp and you can hit the rev limit at around 19k and sounds like a 600cc bike. too bad we can't really get them here with out spending much, damn laws.

  • whats wrong with the ninja's carburation? absoloutely nothing. especially in a bike this size carbs are just fine. hyos top speed is only like 140km/h and it weighs about 15kg more. its a let down... big bike small AIR COOLED engine. i'd rather have liquid cooling rather than FI. chines bikes are shit. u missed almost all the other 250 japanese cruisers. ninja 250 still reigns and eventually FI will come and the ninja 250 will still be king in the 250 class.

  • the only bike worth buying is the ninja. the bike is pretty good. i bought one to add to my collection and i use it the most. i live in san francisco and also have a zx10r. the litre bike is great on the freeway, but is almost overkill in the city. its like having a lambo or a ferrari in manhattan. too much traffic to really use its full potential. like the narator said, in the right hands, the 250 bruises egos. so true.. and if i cant bruise it with the 250, i break out the zx10r.. hahaha!

  • No Honda Rebel, no Honda Nighthawk, no Suzuki GZ250, no Yamaha V-Star 250...

Yet you managed to dig up a shitty Johnny Pag and a non-motorcycle V3...

    You guys suck.

  • what about the honda rebel?

  • Hey geniuses, less music more vocals. And record that audio narration in a better room with a proper microphone. Jesus you guys are incompetent.

  • minor mechanical issue lol.. chinese built what a suprise :|

  • @XenoRacing - I wouldn't touch that 'Pag with a 20' pole. The TU250X is the only one here that really gets my blood flowing.

  • @XenoRacing

You missed the part where it said AMERICAN designed right?

The chinese built a shitty American product so Johnny Pag would have someone to blaim HAHAH

  • @TWsedan It was designed by an american but mass produced in china to save on importing material costs and labor wages. Aprillia did the same shit and what a mistake that was!

  • haha, that V3 looks like something a 14 year old kid would design..... and it's freaking awesome!!
