  • I've seen this t.v. show before, they usually show 3 things on how there made, so most likely they were showing how guitars were made.

  • when i saw the guy playing the guitar at the beginning i thought i clicked the wrong video lol :x

  • WOW who would have thought that those colors could produce such a natural looking wig!!

  • @06Kabal I thought the same thing!

  • Quite informative.. thank-you :)

  • when i first seen this video i was like. LOL i now thats right!!!

  • thats a german needle, it makes the work so much easy.

  • what type of ventilating needle did you use. Must get me one, thanks....

  • Awesome:P I am new here and i can be shy and nasty too

  • Wow.... that is extremely laborious, and must be mind-numbing. I applaud these skilled craftsmen.

  • ...... useless.

  • Wow! I had no idea how lace wigs are made. This vid was so interesting and informative. Thanks.

  • Awesome information... we will share this with our wig customers

  • psh lace wigs arent that expensive. i found mine on ebay for 100 bucks. cheap!

  • @emokidrell no. $100. EXPENSIVE

  • @ThePsychoticScyth396 Then you must be poor. Sorry for your bad luck.

  • @emokidrell That was probably only a lace /front/ wig, in which only the front is hand-tied. Those run for about $100-170 on ebay while full lace are veryyyyy pricey.

  • Wow man has tyme x

  • how time consuming was that!

  • Comment removed

  • this is not easy to do! this is very hardworking!

Those kind of lace cost more than 1000 dollars! because it's hand made! better than what you can find in a hair store!

  • I could not do this

  • @shaytabee Me either.

  • it's actually pretty easy ... see get a punch off eaither synthatic hair, real hair..etc... and then get a lace get some colors so you dye the lace to the closet sculp color your going for and get that hocking needle annnd for blending the hair do it like he did ,if you don't have THAT tool i got an idea just get some piece of wood and nails, hit the nails in the piece of wood and tadda .... sooo thats pretty easy am going for it someday..

  • Cool I wanna get 1but there reeely expensive

  • Anyone know where I can buy the tool he uses to thread? I'd like to make my own wing.

  • no wonder its crazy expensive....after seeing this i wont ever complain about paying for one

  • goat skin!? ewww

  • Wow..

  • Amazing....

  • pink, huh? who knew?

  • the giutar sound like From the veronicas untouched

  • very interesting

  • -well damn ! i'm thinking making a lace wig is pretty damn easy, that's some hard work that goes into actually creating it ! ( pink, red, orange, etc ] colors are used to create that natural highlight appearance? cool !

  • cool!

  • I was thinking I'd make my own wig 'til I saw he ventilating part...

  • I wonder if the person making the wig is wearing a wig...

  • no wonder lace fronts are so expensive.

  • @justintimeTM not the ones from hong kong

  • it's amazing!!

  • the person playing a guitar in the begining is kinda random

  • @X3kawaiichan I think he looks a bit like Steve Carell lol

  • @X3kawaiichan it's more like a barney theme song XD

  • 50 hours! I hope she doesn't mean continuansly.

  • @jredbaron96 No, think of it like going into work every day. 50 or so hours spread over a week or two.

  • I'm enjoying the video. It is very educational. Wish I knew where to get the supplies from in Germany! I'm waiting on your next video. THANK YOU

  • This is one of my favorite videos, because it is the real thing. You can learn to do the same and to start your own production at ukwigschool.

  • jaw dropping

  • he should give me his hair to make a wig

  • Oh HELL no!! Lol, and I was thinking of making a lace front wig....

That is some haaard work! I'll stick to making regualr wigs, haha.

  • @jutapy lol its not as complicated as it looks... i do these for a theatre company and its no problem... you dont have to do all that ventilation in one sittting...

  • wow..amazing!

  • brilliant

  • Thats why full laces cost 1000+

  • only the real hair ones, the synthetic ones cost around 600-800.... I nowthis because of experince... i own 4 real hair and 2 synthetic

  • @wtwh1 Actually full lace wigs, synthetic or not are extremely expensive because of the time needed to hand-hook every hair. My friend and I make lace wigs and the full human hair wigs vary in price by length, the same for synethetics.

  • thats hot....

  • @Meeriea I used to make wigs..... it's REALLY boring, and the ventilating hook hurts even more, when you pull it out of your finger, than when it goes in!

  • Great Video clip. Thanks for posting this.

50 hours is a long time, though. No wonder the prices of lace wigs vary so much. Like they always say, you get what you pay for. After seeing this, there is no doubt that it's all worth it.

  • hardwork no wonder it takes 6 weeks to come. shout out to all tha guys gettin 1 4 their girl to look good. some need it some jus get it 2 look xtra pretty

  • 50 HOURS?!!! WHAT THE!

  • Thanks CountryGal/ changingmythought - us Wig Making Gods and Goddess thank your appreciation !!! It can cost anywhere to 250-2000 dollars to make a wig depending on materials and types of hair !!!! and in response to Vidn00b - (correction- it's a hackle not a hapel -and yes it is one of the scariest things in wig making - i small clink (plink - is the sound it makes)and you dont even look - b/c u know the pain will happen! it feels like 1000000 papercuts in the same spot over and over again !!

  • My God, you'd have to have the patience of a saint to make one of those. The results are absolutely amazing, though. I bow down to the wig making gods.

  • @CountryGal180 It IS exhausting, straining on the eyes and you get hand cramps after a few hours doing it.

  • no wonder why sometimes when you have weave in your hair you see like a random red or orange strand.

  • argg the Hapel creeps me out, looks like something that came from Saw

  • Hackle**

  • hacle with a c

  • God bless all lace wig makers!!!! i had no idea that's what it took! no wonder them thangs cost so much!!!!

  • i coulnt do something like that cause i am not very patient and this work needs lots of patience.

  • Wow this is very informative! It,s cool to see a real artist at work.I bet it cost alot of money to have one made. It looks very time consuming.

  • Is that wy my wig costed iver 500 bucks lol hard work!

  • incredible, he's so graceful...very very strange.

  • Wow! thats real laborious, looks very expensive too.

  • how much does something like that cost?

  • Thousands of dollars. Ballpark guess = $2,500

  • 0___0 wow but its worth it

  • ok, can somebody please explain how the pink hairs disappeared?

  • It's a color theory technique. In the blending process it creates an optical illusion- the colors are added to have depth and play with light. Stylist can do the same thing with your real hair by prisms or a color weave.

  • @Lambing1 Because they blend in with the rest of the hair. It's all blending.

  • This is amazing!

  • omg!it takes for ever

  • it looks so real!

  • Amazing!!!

  • really...on the discovery channel? it must be a HUGE phenomenon

  • wow....patience is virtue.

  • If you can make a fully hand-tied wig in two days, I applaud you!! Then the theatre field applauds you. When you're done with that, make a fully wefted wig as well. Making weft is so extremely easy, just time consuming.

  • @ThatG0es4u2 I've found making wefted wigs is easier but hand-hooked lace wigs don't tangle as badly. I don't know if it's because the single strands are hooked on the mesh lace or what but the tangle factor is very low.

  • man that is patience, I guess he likes it. oh and the name is pretty funny "WIG MASTER".

  • wow amazing...that is art..and must pay well too making them by hand,,lol!
