I bought the game because i've seen the great screenshots on the website (making-historyDOTcom (can't write links in the new youtube -.-) my username is "hamstedt" :P) and the nice gameplays on youtube. But if you see the trailer, you will think, that making history is a game like risk. but it isn't like risk, it is rather like Europa Universalis or Civilisation. Did you know that MH Gold is a tested history education game at 150 schools in America?

But to bad i do not get no challenge from 1st game i conquered the world twice on hardest difficulty

I played as China and owned the Japanese instead of the other way round was awesome.

HOI3 with Semper Fi add-on is killer and is a superiour product IMHO. Nice though to see another grand strategy game.

Played this game at PAX East, its really really good. It has the combat of AAA, recourses and production of Civ, and diplomacy of Diplomacy.
