  • The trailer doesn't do this film justice

  • all i can say is that the 3 ppl who disliked this arent british!!

  • @Atlantisfair34 The 3 people that disliked this support Thatcher

  • ah! Tara Fitgerold

  • I really want to see this movie!!!

  • I sure can play a mean trombone....IN MY PANTS after some tikka masala. Its like I've got a whole wind orchestra down there, but sadly I will never blow as much as this sorry excuse for a "film" will!!!

  • @SuperEggfart I can really only assume you haven't watched it, or are from outside the country. There's a bit where Phil tries to commit suicide in his clown costume, and he's rushed through A&E. You see this doorway and the crash team belting along and these two foot long clown shoes sticking up in the air, it's just priceless.

  • Ewan looks cute!!! =)

  • SPELLING FAIL 1:09

  • RIP Pete Posltethwaite

  • RIP Pete Postlewaite :( Cracking film this, remember watching it about 13 or so years ago.

  • ewan! *faints*

  • Amazing movie. I did this stage show last year, my little brother played Shane. It was absolutely amazing. I did the lighting for it. Miss it so much, especially now..

  • OMG i get it now . i read the part of Sandra the other night, cold .....I can play that part ....I get to throw crockery.YES!!!!!!!!!

  • And lo he created the Tory party, if you thought new labour was bad, look away now....

  • Watching British films I need an English-English to American-English dictionary. I probably miss a lot of nuance. Other than European Brass Band Championships and Brass in Concert DVDs, Brassed Off! is one of my most played DVDs. To see that Frank Renton conducted Grimethorpe in the actual Brassed Off! performance gives more meaning to this great film and gives more meaning to my EBBC and BIC DVDs.

  • One of the best dialogues from this film was Gloria invited Andy "up for a coffee"

Gloria "Would you like to come up for a coffee"

    Andy "I don't drink coffee"

    Gloria "I haven't got any"

    Phew! does me everytime.

  • immer diese engl .HA´s ......

  • that's tara fitzgerald! I love her...

  • the thing is YORKSMILKCHURNS that they're all as bad as one another. Look at them all poncing about in westminster squabbling over what they earn. RIDICULOUS

  • I saw this movie in school years ago and loved it... would love to see it again :)

  • 2329250 SAID this makes you proud to be a yorkshire man

but ASHAMED OF EVER VOTING LABOUR . THEY HAVE TAKEN EVERYTHING FROM US A LOT MORE THEN THE TORIES DID AND THAT IS SAYING SUMMOT JUST GO FUCK OF BROWN AND YOUR NEW LABOUR CUNTS WITH YOU

  • Interesting point. what's the alternative though?

  • Comment removed

  • hey up all you twats who been defending brown the clown and new labour . i bet you have red faces now . you seen what a load of cunts they are . especially elliot morley and that Fayebeanl hamilton a leeds labour mp. just plain stealing from us, why does a labour mp have a name like fayebean you know he is a cunt with a name like that just a load of posh criminals .yorkshire say to labour fFUCK OFF YOU THEIVING TWATS

  • MOONST0MP SAID Ewan McGreggor's put on Yorkshire accent is fuckin terrible, it spoils the whole film, it is as bad as Dick Van Dykes Cockney accent in Mary Poppins. We do not say "nawt" in yorkshire it is "nowt" not fuckin "nawt"

  • i put that on 5 months ago and brown is a bigger cunt now . sin then the banks have fucked the job all together . all best from west yorkshire

  • I agree 100% . This government is one of the most corrupt, self serving and outright useless we've ever had. They laughably claim to be the party of the people. I saw through them years ago. How can they explain getting rid of the 10p tax band ? How can they explain taxing pensions ? Not even Thatcher had that much neck . For years we were made to be proud of Britain and stand up for it. But this labour lot have strived to destroy any sense of national pride.

labour OUT ! brown OUT !

  • Great movie, thanks for posting the trailer.

  • this is great.

  • what's this movie about??

  • one of the best, if not the best, british movies ever made.

  • we watched it today in our english lesson... I'm from germany... the movie is funny

  • the only words you can understand are "bloody" and bastard xD

  • Third Best Line- "Bit Clumsy With The Crockery Your Sandra!"

  • Really good movie, im gonna buy it a t amazon these days... or I hope so.

  • thats what i did

  • next best line I got a chair now

  • gloria mullins.....glorius tits best line in the film

  • Well, I watched this movie some time ago in my English lesson, and have to say that it was great. When I first heard of it, I thought it was boring film with annoying brass music.

But it was so exciting and dramatically that I watched again at TV. And then I nearly cried at some scenes because it touched me so deeply.

  • im in this film and my coisin it was filmed in grimethorpe.

  • Great movie. Great music. Really touched me as a kid.

  • brilliant movie. Unless you live in the UK and suffered through the pit closures this would be just entertainment. But its more than that, its a testiment.

  • You're dead right. For anyone complaining about the present Labour Government or who looks back on the Thatcher years with a sense of nostalgia, just take a look at this film and see/remember what a really bad Government can do to wreck the lives & kill the spirits of decent, hard working people, families & communities. The "poor little me" of today want to take a bloody good look too.

  • exelent film my pit closed in 1984 easington colliery it brings back memories.

  • I'd love to watch this movie! But I'm from Brazil and I've never found it to rent! The trailer is cute and Ewan is so lovely!

  • Best of all its got my cousin stephen in it too

  • this movie wasnt from the 80's, it was from'96 and its gr8

  • now thats a classic: Ewan as a band geek! that's any band geeks dream!!!!

  • a classic film this....if you haven't seen it, you should

  • ...old? Old?! Wow, then movies in the 80s must be ancient to you...

  • Wow, this movie is OLD!! Oh well, it has Ewan in it...
