I am trying to achieve the same effect (circling globe & earth), but for some reason I can't get the words to disappear behind the object/globe. Is there a specific setting you used?
@fensterbos Not sure what the problem is. Make sure all objects are 3D. 2D/3D mix do not always behave as expected. The globe object is actually flat and needs to be Spherized. You need to make sure that objects are aligned in 3D space. I added a URL to my project files in the video description (can't add it here because of some weird youtube "thing".)
I included the font since it contains a fix i applied to the original. You will need to install that before running Motion. HTH - fox
