I would say: A guitar is as good as the player. Even with a lowend price guitar a good player can make good musik ...you just have to know how to play it.

So stop talking bullshit about guitars. Even the cheap ones can be amazing.

@TheHolle78 You're right.. in a sense... You can only get so much tone out of one so in a sense the sound of the guitar will suck while the music being played doesn't. Does that make sense? What I'm saying and what he is saying is you won't get the tone of a $1500 Gibson or $3000 Ibanez from a $300 Gibson nor $500 Ibanez.. etc.

Clueless people: Gibsons are NOT better. Only the old stuff are quality products, nowadays it's all crap, ESPECIALLY the low end guitars. The price/quality ratio is terrible.

Thats simply not true. of course the cheap 800-1000 $ Gibsons arent good like the old ones, but the standard and custom shop guitars as still awesome, and if you ever had a good gibson in your hands and didnt feel the magic you just need to stop playing.

@theflavasava2 Yet they're nothing compared to other brands that are in the same price range. Especially in the low-end price range, Epiphone/Gibson doe snot cut it at all. The gibsons neck is too bulky for me+the bridge is not comfortable for me, that is an opinion and varies. However the quality of Gibsons is lacking. If you're willing to pay 2500dollars, then not, however, as I said: the ones with a reasonable price are horrible.

@TheHolle78 The older guitars are of better quality than they are nowadays. They've mass produced in china with no overseeing. The quality is lacking, especially with the lower end guitars. I don't like Gibson playing wise: the neck is too thick, they're too heavy and the bridge is not nice to put my hand on. That is personal, however. What is not personal is the quality that lacks and that is why I do not even bother with them anymore.

I love all of the technical death metal bands out there, and a lot of the stuff that online reviewers praise I'm into as well. But I don't give a FUCK about what they say about MH, bc this performance, even just on a video, is one of the purest representations of Metal that I've ever seen. Amazing.
