  • Pretty brave posting videos of a unpinned mag, but I guess your one of the few who have balls in Canada.

  • @RyanHoulio Actually, I can't claim to be all that brave. The M1 Garand has an exemption, as it uses en bloc clips that take 8 rounds, so it's legal.

  • @BobbyIronsights Very true, thats for the information, seems like they keep that stuff fairly low key... If you catch my drift.

  • @RyanHoulio its a clip stupid!!!!! :P just messing with you, are laws are so logical right?

  • How is the M1 Garand availability in Canada?

  • You can get a new stock from the CMP for around $100.

  • damn no offense but that is one ugly garand. is it sporterized?

  • @NotSoLegalStuff Nope, it just had a few parts missing when I bought it.

  • Who on earth did that to the Garand? Or is it a special version of the M1?

  • Very unusal looking Garand, with the top and forward wood pieces removed. Not bad, just different.

  • @Sweet68Camaro People do that all of the time to old rifles, they think it makes it look more like a "sport rifle". I had bought an old Enfield .303 with the wood cut back like that also.

  • That is the first time I have seen a sporterized M1 Garand. Looks better then I thought it would, but I still could never bring myself to sporterize my WW2 and older rifles. By the way, pull the slide back? I was always tought to slap it forward, and do NOT be gentle. It does not like gentle, lol. I guess it is a fitting rifle for Canadians, since a Canadian invented it.

  • @Jesses001 Was he still a Canadian when he invented it? I read that he became a US citizen, but I'm not sure if it's true

  • @sarasmith125 Yes, you are correct. He accualy went to school in the USA, and lived most of his life here as well. Interesting fact, he never recived any royalties for this rifle. He defently deserved some though.

  • @Jesses001 Not sporterized, just missing a couple parts, probably cannibalized. Still shoots though, and it was in my price range.

  • @BobbyIronsights Well it seems to work just fine, so I would say if you did not pay to much it was a good buy. I do not know the Canadian prices off hand. I live in the US, so all firearm prices are a bit lower for the most part due to increase abilty to get them easally. I will take anything with a good price that shots well, even if it is hacked up and ugly like that one. Besides, you can always make a restore project out of it when you are in the mood.

  • Never seen a Garand with that model of stock but then again it might not be the same Garand as was used (and featured in most movies) in WW2?

  • so y sell it if u like it?...

  • You live in Ontario?

I love that place. Visited it once when I was very young. Very clean place.

  • What's the deal with your gas tube?

  • so do you live in Ontario then man or were you just visiting
